The best free app for collaborating on grocery lists

I’ve used this app for about 6-7 years and it’s still free and just as helpful for getting everyone in the household to contribute to and be on the same page as far as shared groceries. Also love that you can edit the categories based on the aisles you hit first in your local grocery store so that the list is always in the order sequence of how you navigate a store. Love the area to find and store recipes too.

Love the app in general, only one complaint. If I add an item to the list and my wife adds the same item on her phone to the shared list, the app removes the item from the list. I wish it just duplicated the item, not removed the entry. That causes us issues all the time. If you update the list (pull down, takes longer than it seems like it should) you need to read through the list, because duplicate entries, remove the item from the list.

I’ve had this app for YEARS and have never had a single issue with it. It’s beyond useful and very well designed. I got my entire family to download it when I was a teenager in 2018, and we all still use it to this day. The list organization is neat and you can easily add, change, or remove items. The hand-drawn icons and banners are also very cute! I recommend it to my friends!

I have ad this app for a number of years and absolutely Love it. I have found it has only gotten better with each update. Not only does it help for events and food planning it helps with the different store organization if you want that. If I had to ask for one thing it would be to be able to add my own categories. For my family we choose dinners we want for the week and add them to the list for our weekly groceries. Being able to call those things Dinner would be great, instead of Own Items. Thanks for the app. I have tried others and always found them lacking in comparison to this one.
