What year is it?

the good mister
Spent $1000 on overture hardware only to have the REQUIRED app fail before I could even create a login, which again is required. I fill in my info to create account. “Enter passcode” a popup says. No warning whatsoever but I assume they were meant to email me a passcode - when I enter anything it says “incorrect OTP”. Of course no email ever comes after several tries over several days. I am now on hold with broan. Wait time over 20 min. This hardware should not be on the market with an app like this. Even visually the app looks like it was made in 2010 so I don’t know what I expected.

Installed app, setup account, logged in… fine. But the next required step after that is setting up a “home”. This part fails. No matter what values I enter, the app will not set up a “home”. So now I have no way to access or control my new air quality system. Nor is there an obvious way to get support. What a joke.

I was feeling hopeful that Broan finally fixed their issues as the system and app worked well for a few months. Now it’s back to being bricked. I feel like there must be a server issue plaguing the app.

Home Screen locks up and you have to delete the app and reinstall to try to login again. Overall, it could be a lot better app with a complete re-write
