Hello my name is Clorrisa. I Started renting cars though your company. Yesterday I rented a car from Budget after getting off the plane. As tired and exhausting a plane ride is and with a muscle condition called dermatomyositis, I was ready to grab my vehicle and just go home. First off they gave me a car that someone just brought back. No one cleaned this car, it had another person snot napkins in it knowing that covid is alive and well, I can’t afford to get sick from anything else. Secondly, I went back to the counter to receive another vehicle, they gave me keys to a Kia Sorento told me to go to slot m3. So again moved all my luggage out of the dirty vehicle to another vehicle was a problem for my muscles, the car I put my luggage into was not the right car for the keys the manager gave me. So again I had to remove luggage to put into another vehicle. My appointment time was 2:30 but made it off the airplane and 1:20 picked up my first vehicle around 1:37. By the time we finished playing find the real car I finally left the airport around 2:38. Called budget 1800 number twice and they wanted me to go to different locations. Now the manager had said he will give me a discount or a extra day. Didn’t get any and my time to bring the vehicle back remained at 1:37. Why didn’t my time change. They ended up giving me a that Kia that is horrible the way it drives and sound like it needs maintenance and then the fact that I was only getting a 40 voucher on my next vehicle. I don’t think I would be renting again from budget and my review will not be nice. I have never been so disappointed with a company in all my life. Especially during a worldwide pandemic where people are dying everyday. Please please please keep all cars clean. They could have just simply told me that it’s going to be a wait because they need to sanitize, I would have waited with patience. I would love to speak to someone regarding my experience. I turned my rental in on 18 January Budget charged me until 26 January. I had to get my company to go back and get them to reverse the charges and then they have the nerve to say they need to see my flight information like somebody was lying, when is very obvious all you were doing is stealing you don’t have to worry about it. I will not rent again unless it’s absolutely absolutely absolutely an emergency nothing else is left.My other colleague had an issue with them charging her $73 for gas when she filled the vehicle up so she had to go back for them to change that we work for the federal government why are you trying to get over on them? And you best believe we are spreading the word not to rent from y’all and then you don’t even extend the vehicle we gotta come all the way back to where we got it from to be extended. what was really sad I was in the mist of a snowstorm and they still had to bring the vehicle back in because they wouldn’t extend it one day y’all pretty sad sad company. I know I’m not the only one complaining about y’all, so what it seems like y’all don’t do anything about it you might not think it’s hurting you now, but in the long run bad reviews can eventually destroy anything. The really big question is why my receipt didn’t the date change to the date I turned vehicle in on, how many people have y’all really done this to who didn’t have a flight receipt to show y’all this company has no ethics or morals and I was always raised that start at leadership. Try to do better in the future. Very disappointed customer

There is no way to extend your rental on this app when a emergency occurs or you need the rental longer also you can never get ahold of anyone at the local office and the 1800 number isn’t any better they will give you a rental reservation only to learn the vehicle you rented isn’t available and there’s not even a replacement they take all calls even if rental cars are all sold out at the location your wanting to rent from and they lie about vehicles being in stock at that location and at all locations!!!! Bad business ethics just to get your money Bad business Budget. You can do a lot better the BBB you don’t need to have negative reviews for your business. Fix the mobile app ASAP and give us people the freedoms to do what we want to with out rental we are the paying customers and allow the customer to be in full control on what they want to rent and have the available rentals available and even have the mobile app check to see if truly the rental vehicle is indeed in stock at the location!!! They also change the rental price of the vehicle from one hour to the next Thieves!!! Your codes don’t work that you send out to save money you can’t claim your budget bucks at the counter you have to call the 1800 number to claim them just a total rental car headache runaround Fix your mobile app and let us customers be in charge of our rentals we are the ones that are here to rent a vehicle without any headaches we do not have time for the excuses you all make and you make your employee lie too. Terrible!!!! STOP LYING AND STEALING PEOPLES MONEY

If could give a zero rating I would. I prepaid for a car rental with this company for my quick trip to NY and thought that all was well. When I got to the airport location and went to pickup the car then they are telling me that I need a credit card so that they can hold a total of $250. I had one credit card on me at the time that didn’t have enough funds in it to cover cover the charges, my debit card that I use all the time had way more than enough to cover the charges they wanted to hold. Instead of using the debit card because the credit card didn’t have enough cash in it they straight out said that they can’t give me the vehicle, leaving me stranded at JFK airport. When I asked about a refund for the the car I had prepaid for I was told to call customer care and I would be refunded so I did. It’s been days now and I still can’t get back my money from this company. I will never be renting from them again and I will strongly encourage everyone to please be careful with them when renting a car especially when paying in advance. Ohh! and the other thing, they also run your credit which means that your credit score will take a hit, they had run my twice so I got a double hit on my score. What a price to pay and still no vehicle and was left stranded. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY you’ve been warned.
