At a macro level, you can split your spending into necessities, wants, and savings. Budget Leaf helps you by automatically calculating your net income and splitting it into these three categories following the 50/30/20 rule.

After inputting your main expenditures, you can see where your money is actually going compared to where it should be.

Simple, informative, easy to use

I have a macro level financial spreadsheet that I use to strategize and plan my financial goals. Most budgeting apps are trying to track too many things and always category my purchases wrong.

This app has replaced my spreadsheet and makes it easy to review my goals every once in a while. I can’t believe I haven’t found something like this already.
