5 STARS BUT SMALL EUCHRE GRIPE

I’m giving this 5 stars because so much of it is better than most other card games I’ve played. The only one I’m having a problem with is Euchre. The first thing [and I have to say it’s only my opinion] is the rule where when the bid goes around twice the dealer has to name trump. This reduces the game to one of pure luck and a skillfully played game can be won or lost based solely on luck.I would love to see this changed to being able to pass and throw the deal in. Other than that the game strategically plays better than any I’ve downloaded, and I havent missed any! I’m so finding it very confusing following the dealing and bidding because it goes soooo fast. I find myself having to study the board before playing just to see who dealt, what trump is and who named it. Also the names identifying the players are placed closer to the opponent than the actual player. I can live with these things because everything else about this is app is the best but I’m hoping these things will be taken into consideration, especially if there ore others agreeing with me. I’ve gotten hooked on gin rummy and again I love how it plays. I only wish I could arrange my cards as I’m playing. It’s difficult to know what to draw or discard when the cards in my hand are so mixed up.

Overall Great App

Love the games and app, few suggestions:
- Increase the size of cards in your hand a little more so there is smaller chance of accidental wrong card placement/swap
- In Gin Rummy, there seems to be a glitch/bug (at least for playing against bots) that between hands, when it asks to continue game or quit game with the scoreboard displayed, if you press the screen (outside of the pop up box) it starts dealing but the scoreboard stays there and you can no longer press “continue” or exit out of the scoreboard so you’re stuck and have to quit the game. It’s fairly common/consistent and definitely an issue
- Maybe eventually add some way to get different Bicycle decks to use for Solitaire or other games ? Would be a fun feature if so

Clean, lacking options, wrong rules

I would have thought bicycle would have the right rules if anyone would but spades doesn’t subtract for missing your bid. The ai is also extremely bad - my partner missed his bid every single hand except the one hand I went nil; and unfortunately nobody plays online so I have to play with bots. It’s also missing an undo function for those with fat fingers like myself but I’d understand leaving that out (vs bots only obviously). There is also no resume function so if you don’t finish a game you don’t get to continue later. There are also no options for rule variants or speeding up moves - which means sometimes you are moving too fast for the game. I’d also love stats for bot games; there may be stats for multiplayer but I haven’t found a single person to play with.

The good things are the game is crisp - it looks and sounds good. There are zero ads which is a huge win for it. I honestly wouldn’t even play it anymore if it weren’t for that. They appear to be adding more games so it’s nice to have a central hub for my card games. The game as private games as well.

TLDR; it’s a good start but has a ways to go to become my primary card game app.
