This update • fixes an error in the price information for the purchase options. • extends the editing options of the index cards by adding a CSV file as an attachment when sending a card file by e-mail.

Previously, only CSV files with the usual line break with CR (carriage return) for macOS up to version 9 could be used for data import. In this version, CSV files can now also be used in which line breaks with CR+LF (Carriage Return + Line Feed, as they occur during CSV export from Excel) or pure LF, which is common under Unix/Linux and newer macOS versions.

This update contains the following changes: • In version 3.0 the creation of flashcards for vocabulary learning is greatly simplified.With a high-contrast black and white photo of a two-column vocabulary list, the corresponding flashcards can be produced automatically via text recognition.Before using such cards, they should be checked for correct recognition. • On an iPhone with an enlarged status bar, the position of the flashcards is adjusted.

In version 2.1, the UIWebView class was replaced by the WKWebView class as recommended by Apple, which will be mandatory from December 2020. This leads to a serious deadlock when creating index cards with PDF templates. Unfortunately this function was not checked during testing. In this update • the above problem is solved • the index cards with handwritten entries or photos are displayed in the list view with thumbnails • the storage space requirement is optimized.

In this version • a simplified palm recognition is used to enable pen input with hand rest • the rendering is improved

This update includes adjustments to the newer iOS versions, bug fixes, stability improvements, and the following handling changes: • creating new cards and editing is now also possible in landscape format • the pen can be used in four colours

You can now also create card entries by handwriting. The app will not perform any text recognition, but save the handwritten entry as an image. For every new entry, the last method used (keyboard or handwriting) is activated. Note: If you are using an iPad, you can only create a new card in portrait orientation, because in landscape orientation the +-button is deactivated.

A problem with the access to the camera and the microphone in iOS 10 was fixed. Prices for two in-app purchases have changed.

A lack of clarity about the CSV data import has been fixed. So far only semicolon-separate data could be imported. Now the import of comma-separate data is also possible.
