We are based in California and founded by a lifelong cat person with an eye for product design. We take our name from his rescue cat Leo. Found in a dumpster and badly injured, Leo was nursed back to health and went on to live 18 wonderful years in the comfort of a home.

It was our last resort
We have three cats (one is blind) and all around 10lbs. We were given the old version of the Litter Robot and had issues with it constantly stopping and getting stuck. Chocked it up to being the old one and upgraded to the newest one which had even more problems! Joined a FB group dedicated to helping with issues for Litter Robot since their support team basically ghosted you for weeks. The fact this group existed just gives you an idea how bad that contraption was. Finally was able to send the new one back.
Decided to give a different brand one last try for automatic litter boxes. Saw the reviews for LooToo was amazing. Bought it and we are never looking back! The LooToo is incredible and the SmartyPear app is so easy to use and very reliable. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great litter box!
About 7 months ago I took in a 3rd cat, a month later decided it was time to invest in an automatic litter box. The smaller size of the loo too was what sold me. I don’t have a lot of space to spare but this fits perfect in a 1/2 bath we didn’t need to utilize. I love this machine. It’s super easy to clean and the waste bin is large enough to where I really don’t need to change the trash bag until about day 3 or 4. The drum and opening are large enough for all my cats ranging from 10-14 lbs. The best part though, I have a very anxious cat and he’s terrified of everything new. It took him about a week to be sold but that in itself is impressive!
As for the app, it works great and easy to navigate. My only wish is if we could know the bin was getting full before it’s at max capacity.
Would definitely recommend!
I’ve never had an automatic litterbox but this was the clear choice when comparing to litter robot based on reviews. It makes my life easy and is very communicative about when to add litter and do the monthly cleaning. My only complaint is that I wish they had an add on door that you could purchase. My kitten enjoys flinging litter and a door would be so helpful.
