Great idea, poor execution
I gave three stars because it’s at great idea to have an assistant to learning the game. However, the animations don’t work. None of the pieces are shown on the board when moving through the instructions. Also, there isn’t options for the other games in the Catan universe such as cities and knights, barbarians and traders, etc.
Good idea, poor execution
Was so excited about this idea. The instruction book was overwhelming for me. Nothing on this matched what was in my book and the animations didn’t work. The set up for this didn’t match the beginners set up in my book. Couldn’t see where to place initial playing pieces.
Screen Artifacts & Poor Demo
Like another posted review: things don’t sync up as pieces aren’t on the board (narrative says as shown on the board), ah whose board? Not the one I’m seeing.
The screen goes haywire when triangular pieces of images dance across the screen.
Why bother to put something out to help when it obviously hasn’t been unit tested, beta tested or user tested. Why is it okay to release junk? What offshore “talent” was hired for $1/hr to write this crap?
What a waste of my time and if you download it, you’ll have wasted your time too.
