About this App:
• Each membership name type (primary, joint, loan joint, etc.) will now be able to enroll into Digital Banking with their own username and password.
◦ Business Banking and Fiduciary accounts will have separate logins.
• Check balances and view transaction history.
• See pending transactions.
• Make check deposits.
• Manage your cards with Card Control.
• Send money using an email address or mobile phone number with the free person to person payment service (PayItNow).
• Sign in using FaceID or your fingerprint (must have a Touch ID-capable device running iOS 8 or later).
• Access Coast Money Manager – A free personal financial management tool!
• New “Refer a Friend” feature, allowing users to turn referrals (by text, email, or social media) into cash.
• View and earn Cal Coast Loyalty Rewards points.
• Use Quick Balance to view account balances without signing into the app.
• Transfer funds between Cal Coast accounts and loans.
• Add new payees and pay bills from your checking account(s).
• Find a nearby ATM, branch, or CU Service Center (shared branch).

To sign into mobile banking, use your California Coast Credit Union username and password. If you are not a member, apply now using the app or call us at 858-495-1600 or 877-496-1600.

Does the job

This app is a bit slow, but it gets the job done. I wish I could select which accounts I want to see and hide the ones I don’t need to see all the time. Other than that it functions as it is supposed to. I would like to say that the sign in speed has gotten a little faster since I first downloaded the app, so that is a step in the right direction. I love you guys, you always have great customer service! Thanks you for all your hard work!

Not any better

Not any better than the old app in anything that matters. It looks better when it’s not being cut off by the dynamic island on some screens. But it actually runs slower than the old app. I sit waiting for minutes, my phone screen literally shuts off while I wait for it to login. I regret signing up to be a tester and I almost regret banking at CCCU because this is not the only tech of theirs that seems archaic. UPDATE: from bad to worse, now I periodically get “we had a technical delay” and the app crashes, half the time I try to open the app.
UPDATE2: it at least works and preforms to the extent of the old app but I still do see the value when nothing else was improved in the technology stack, you’re still relying on SMS verification which is just terrible for example. And being part of this test removed plaid integration and broke some financial planning apps I use, wish I had known that ahead of time.

Updated look; that’s pretty much it

It works about as cruddy as the last app. I hate that I still can’t see the routing number and account numbers for my accounts on the app. I don’t understand what the big secret is but maybe that’s just me. I just think it would make using the bill pay easier as merchants usually ask for those when setting it up. I also dislike how long it takes to load anything and your balance is never accurately shown. You have to wait a week and not spend anything for it to be accurate which is really inconvenient when you live in a capitalistic society and you have to spend money to survive. Lastly can we please get more features like creating new accounts, and maybe even hiding some if we would like. That doesn’t mean taking away access to them online but it means keeping them outta sight outta mind. Just food for thought.
