Lots of things to fix

I am a new Cefaly user so I can’t compare this version of the app to the previous one. However, like others have said, the whole thing is pretty clunky. I basically stopped using it after only a few treatments and will just use my device on its own since the app didn’t seem to be doing anything correctly. I wasn’t getting an accurate read on the strength, my treatment sessions wouldn’t log, and I had to re-pair my device every single time. It’s really disappointing, since the “Connect” feature of the Cefaly Connect model - one of the biggest selling points of the device imo - is essentially useless until the app is improved significantly. I hope they can take the feedback and make it more reliable, user friendly, and intuitive. For many migraine patients like myself, collecting symptom data, seeing trends, and keeping track of treatments is essential to managing the disease, and this app currently doesn’t help with any of that, despite its promises to do so.

AppSucks

It’s too hard to see Why do I have to put in my device pin Every time I connect via Bluetooth ( none of my other Bluetooth things do that, they automatically pair after 1st time). The screen jumps around when I try to scroll, and Trying to use it preventatively daily, I have to go through six steps, push the little tiny preventative versus acute button. Dot to get it to run that program, which doesn’t always open up. It would be really nice if the app opened right to either two big buttons preventative or acute and then it ran. I don’t know why it opens up to the log. The log should be a pull down menu somewhere else and when I try to click on the log, it always jumps back to acute versus preventative, so many glitches and very hard to see when you got a migraine. The last thing you wanna do is be looking at that screen and trying to find something really tiny.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback! I completely understand how frustrating it must be to deal with these issues, especially when managing migraine. The requirement to enter the device PIN each time is due to an FDA regulation, but I know it’s inconvenient, and we’re working on improvements to make the process smoother.

Your suggestion about simplifying the app with two large buttons for Preventative and Acute treatments is really helpful. We’re always looking to improve the user experience, and I’ll definitely pass this feedback along to our developers. We’re actively working on updates to address the glitches you’ve mentioned, including the screen jumping and button functionality.

Thank you for your patience, and please stay tuned for more updates! Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!

Progress from previous app!

Cefaly has been a life saver and safety blanket for me especially when traveling. i’ve always wanted to be able to control the intensity from my phone with the old app and it’s awesome to see that capability on this new app. It’s a huge step up from the prior functionality.

A few things that I noticed was the in session functionality. If I clicked out of the app, I had to reconnect and lost my previous session. It also didn’t consistently track my session so, I would think that might be a bug.

All in all, this is a huge upgrade from last app. Controlling the intensity from my phone was always a wish list item so I am glad that feature got pushed. I understand this is likely very difficult to connect to app from medical device, keep It up cefaly team!
