Control your Nerivio device and track your migraine headaches. The Nerivio app controls the Nerivio device - a wireless remote electrical neuromodulation device for the acute and/or preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 12 years of age or older. This prescribed device is self-applied to the upper-arm and should be used in the home environment at the onset of migraine headache or aura, or every other day for preventive treatment. Track your headaches and migraine symptoms in an easy-to-use advanced migraine diary which is included in the app. To provide you with optimal user experience for managing your migraine, the app may require access to HealthKit for sleep information. Use the Nerivio device and this app only if you have a valid prescription and after consulting with your health care professional.

Very difficult to connect but treatment works as a daily treatment

I spend 15-20 minutes every time I want to do a treatment trying to connect this thing to my phone. I then want to throw the entire thing across the room, vs staying calm and meditative, which is the state in which one should be for this. For the love of all that is good, if it’s apple or this app, not sure , but it’s more painful than poking my eyeballs with needles. However, I have chronic migraine disease, which means I get 15+/month so the goal is to do this daily. When I do that I think I’m reducing the frequency and intensity, so thank you to the developers. I do the treatment in combination with meditation and visualization, visualizing the migraines permanently being removed from my body. I think it does help. Best of luck to others! 🙏🏻😀❤️

Make sure Bluetooth is turned “on” on your phone. Do not try to pair the device from the Bluetooth menu. 2. Place the device next to the phone on a table. (If the device is on your arm please remove when connecting.) 3. Turn on the device by pushing the power button (green light will flash slowly). 4. Open the Nerivio App on your phone. 5. Select connect device. You will see a spinning wheel and will be asked to pair the device. 6. When the green “start” icon appears in the center of the screen, you are connected and ready to treat!

I used Nerivio preventatively every other day for six months as a part of a study. I kept up with the daily dairy every day. No problems with the app, but the preventative treatment did not work for me. NOW, I use it for acute migraines with the guided imagery, and it helps a lot. BUT, the daily tracking dairy has become infuriating. Almost every day, I have to redo the dairy to get the info stick. It never did that before. It is already time consuming to do every day, and then to have to do it multiple times is crazy. AND, sometimes it just won’t stick for a day no matter how many times I do it. All that being said, I’m very glad to have Nerivio especially with the guided imagery. It is the new frontier for chronic pain.

I’ve had migraines since elementary school and now I’m a grandma. I’ve tried everything. My treatment plan now is the best I’ve had, but I still get migraines. My doc gave me Nerivio as a trial. I didn’t think much of it at first, but then they added the guided imagery and that made all the difference in the world for me. I almost always get a positive result and feel better. I think I’d do even better if I didn’t wait so long, but I just read some insurance companies may cover treatments. That will be great!Anything that works and isn’t a medication is top notch in my book. Thanks Nerivio. I’m not often impressed especially being a Nurse.

Good part of Chronic Migraine Treatment

This device has been an essential ingredient to my Chronic Migraine treatment plan. It helps other treatments such as non-rebounding migraine medication work with less medication and have a shorter duration of symptoms .If I run out of Nerivio treatments, my migraines have been known to get out of control with pain and other migraine related symptoms. It has allowed me to stay off of narcotic pain medication.The before and after assessments are wonderful to present to my doctors. I use a treatment at the beginning of symptoms for each migraine (even if it is every day.) it has been more helpful than other non-medication devices.
