CheckStream is a checkbook register built for real households — the way you'd balance a checkbook by hand, brought into the modern age and shared with the people who need it.
TRACK EVERY ACCOUNT
Add as many bank accounts as you need. Each one shows your Current Balance, Uncleared Credit, Uncleared Debit, and — most importantly — your Available Balance, so you always know what you can actually spend.
RECONCILE WITH CONFIDENCE
Just like the paper register you grew up with: outstanding transactions stay in one list, and a single tap moves them to Reconciled once they clear. Search and filter by category, merchant, or amount to find anything in seconds.
NEVER FORGET A BILL
Set up recurring transactions — rent, subscriptions, paychecks — and CheckStream posts them automatically on schedule: weekly, biweekly, monthly, yearly, or a specific day of the month.
SEE THE WHOLE PICTURE
Your Home screen splits Bank Accounts from Debts, with running totals for Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth. Monthly Reports break down spending by category with a pie chart and percentages — tap any category to see exactly which charges make it up.
PAY OFF DEBT ON PURPOSE
Track credit cards, car loans, and mortgages with balance, interest rate, and monthly payment. CheckStream calculates your payoff date and total interest automatically, and updates the balance each month as payments post.

One tap shares every account and debt with a spouse or family member through iCloud — no separate accounts, no passwords to manage. Everything you enter, they see. Everything they enter, you see. In real time.
BUILT FOR PRIVACY
Your financial data lives in your own iCloud account, not on a company's servers. CheckStream never sees your data, never sells it, and never shows ads.
CheckStream doesn't link to your bank — you enter transactions yourself, the way you always have. That's by design: no bank credentials to hand over, no subscription fees, no middleman. Just a clear, honest picture of your money, kept exactly the way you and your family want it.
Ratings & Reviews
Fixed recurring transactions occasionally posting twice. Debts now support monthly, twice-a-month, every-2-weeks, and weekly payment schedules. New year-to-date report showing spending by category for the whole year.
