App is intended for chess experts to try puzzles, was looking for aomething to improve my novice game, also it crashes every time i need to promote a pawn.

These aren't puzzles, as the "solutions" don't actually force checkmate. That is, the computer could actually avoid checkmate quite easily after most "correct" first moves, so the puzzles are only accurate if you're playing against a stupid opponent. I'm sure that there's some point to this game, but there are so many better chess puzzle apps out there that there's no reason to buy this one.

I love this app. I've had it for a couple of months and I still haven't finished it. When ever I am waiting for someone to show up or have a few minutes to spare I try my hand at a board. It forces me think and entertains me all in one. With the help feature it is good for those new to the game and still challenging enough for those who've been playing for years. Well done app at a great price, I don't think I've gotten this much mileage out of another app for this price.

This puzzler is pretty bad. True it's the first one I've tried from the app store, so I can't give a comparison yet.After trying two puzzles I've decided to erase it. The answer to the first mate in 2 puzzle can be easily prolonged to 3-4 moves which goes against every rule of a good chess puzzle. Also the code can't recognize multiple alternative solutions. The software works fine, but the puzzles aren't worth it.
