Scanner update is not good
As a long time user of your app, and UX professional, the scanner updates that were made in the last update do not work from a usability standpoint. The image is distorted and there’s feedback to know how to position the receipt to get it to work. Thankfully you can manually enter the number, although that’s less than ideal too, but at least it gives you your points. It seems like someone forget to QA this version. I can’t imagine it passed any kind of usability testing with customers.
Fickle at times, orders don’t get auto points
I have a love/hate relationship with this app. I love CSC. I love being able to order something to go. I love that the cafe is always accurate with my orders. I hate that this app never remembers my location (I only use one CSC!), glitches sporadically inhibit the ordering process (esp. with customizations), and most of all - that when I do am order through the app I NEVER get the points added into my craving points balance. I have to ask at the store for a receipt to scan. And not just that - I have to remind employees (after a failed attempt or two) that they have to ring up the order as a dine in order (even if it was to go) in order to get the barcode for me to scan and eventually I get the points I should’ve been credited right when I placed my order and paid for it in the app. I’ve even gone through customer service/support for the app for this last, biggest issue... with zero response from CSC. It’s disappointing, especially from a chain I like so much in so many other ways.
Restaurant is great, app is horrendous.
Have a 50/50 shot at getting the scan to work on receipts. Online ordering is a joke for several reasons 1) you cannot order from the whole menu...no option for the kid’s menu items. 2) there are no descriptions of the various chicken salads 3) if you click the wrong button, you end up being taken out of the order and losing anything you’ve previously added
I’m doubtful there will be any meaningful updates to address these issues as I see so many reviews that lament on the same issues, and many are 1-2 years old. I wish corporate and app development cared as much about their customers as the employees at my local store do.
