Clearline Notes is the research notes app of Clearline Capital. It puts the firm's research library in your pocket for Clearline staff.
- Search every note by ticker, company, analyst or phrase, with the same search as the web app.
- Read notes with their original formatting, pictures and tables, and copy a whole note in one tap.
- Write and edit notes, start from the firm's templates, and keep a scratch pad that syncs with the web.
- Follow tickers: live prices, today's movers, and upcoming earnings, previews and catalysts.
- Open a ticker page for the desk's view, levels, what changed, estimates and open asks, each linked to its source note.
- See who else has a note open, and pick up your shortcuts, saved searches and recent notes on any device.
Clearline Notes requires a Clearline Capital work account. To look around without one, tap "Try the demo" on the sign-in screen to explore the app with made-up sample notes.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Notifications: an alert when someone comments on or reacts to your note, or mentions you in a note or a comment with @ and your initials (as in @MS). The bell on Home lists them.
Faster: Home, your lists and your notes open at once while the newest copy loads, and the app keeps loading by itself instead of showing a connection error.
Dark mode: notes written in black text are now easy to read in dark mode.
Dictation that writes as you talk: tap the microphone in a note, in Ask AI, or beside + for a new note. Your words appear while you speak and go in where you were typing when you tap Done. Ums and false starts come out, numbers are written the way the desk writes them (40 bp, 3Q26), a spoken list becomes bullets, and the names you cover are spelled right. Start it from anywhere with Siri, Shortcuts or the Action button: "Dictate a note in Clearline Notes".
More room to read: a note's header, tickers and title scroll away with the note, and reactions, comments and related notes come at the end of the note instead of staying on screen. The tickers at the top are small chips; tap one for its page.
Settings: Account > Settings has the same settings as the web. Choose where the app opens (your own notebook unless you pick another), where new notes go, the order of the note list, auto-correct for tickers and acronyms, light or dark, and your call-note settings and skills. They match the web and the Windows and Mac apps.
Switch lists from the title: on the Notes tab, tap the title to see all notes, your notes or any notebook.
iPhone Duo: open, the app uses the whole screen, and held upright it puts the tabs along the bottom.
