Version 1.1.2

We are expanding our availability to… Puerto Rico! We now welcome new account applications from our friends in PR (you still need to be 18 years old and have a Social Security Number of course).

We have also enhanced the new account application process to include address verification to help avoid delays in getting approved and receiving your card in the mail.

And, based on your feedback, we’ve implemented a new chatbot which is hopefully more helpful than the last. This one adds a little more flexibility, so the more questions you ask it, the more we can train it to provide appropriate content.

Best online banking app out there!

I have used a local credit union as my main bank for 8 years and I have made the switch to Cogni. I love the in app money sharing it's like venmo on steroids. I also love the customer service you get when signing up with this company. They always have an answer to my questions. It took Just about 5 days for my funds to transfer the first time, but customer service answered every call. Was nervous at first but all is well and I love it. Switching my direct deposit over to Cogni along with a few co-workers. Cool App and great cards!

My first mobile bank!

Applied for a checking account at Capital One - took me over an hour at the branch. Applied for a Cogni account on my phone, took me 3 minutes while still in my PJ 😍 Cogni doesn’t offer as many features as the other big banks yet, but I can see that they’re updating the app frequently BASED ON USER FEEDBACK!! 👏👏👏 it’s super easy to use and it doesn’t use complicated language to confuse you .... Also, I just ❤️ the Single Use card feature. Looking forward to more awesome features!

I’m trapped and it’s Cognis fault

Wow where can I begin. I opened an account and transferred all my money (which was over $2000) into this account. Come to find out, they locked my account for up to 7 business days due to “unusual activity” when the only activity on the account has been the initial transfer to find the account. So I call, and they tell me I’m screwed and I don’t have access to any money for a week - oh, and they have no idea what will happen to the direct deposit from work that is supposed to hit the account in two days. So thanks for making me default on some bills and conning me into this while y’all are unwilling to help. As soon as this *hit show is done, I’ll take all the money and transfer it back into Chase and close this account because this is A JOKE

Unfortunately, ACH deposits for newly funded accounts are subject to longer hold periods. However, we’d be HAPPY to discuss this with you and help you get it sorted out.
