I've started using an app called CommitU for Easton's baseball recruiting, and I have to say, it's been an incredible tool.If you're like me, the recruiting process can feel overwhelming. There are more than 1,500 college baseball programs across the country, and one of the biggest challenges is simply getting your son's information in front of the right coaches. CommitU has made that process so much easier and has helped us stay organized every step of the way.If you're in the same boat—and I know a lot of baseball families are—I highly recommend checking it out.I'm by no means a recruiting expert. There is a lot of recruiting information out there on social media and websites. If you are a parent like me of a high school baseball player who is wanting to play in college you get plenty of emails from gurus that will tell you they will reach out and communicate with coaches and send emails for you. Relationships are important, but my understanding is that college coaches value relationships with high school and showcase coaches more. Instead of re-creating the wheel of tracking sent emails and contacts with a spreadsheet and creating a database of coaches emails, Commit U is a huge time saver and manager of information that will assist you in your recruiting process. I have found this program to be very useful in a very short period of time.
