Behind other apps on IOS
We’ve been longtime ScreenConnect customers and its limitations on IOS in the past were excusable. Now that IOS can support mouse input natively, there is no excuse not to allow a native mouse mode. Additionally, keyboards attached to an iPad are not auto detected and you are forced to press the mouse icon every time you need to type something. Something is wrong with this scenario, as well as the dev excuses about an IOS limitation in similar review responses. Other apps work perfectly fine and support physical keyboard and mouse just fine. One app I can point out that works exceptionally well is the Splashtop Business app and I’m sure regular Splashtop works just fine too. We use Splashtop as a backup to ConnectWise Control so the dev should take note that they should really put some time into figuring this out. We like Splashtop a lot and I’d hate to make the full switch sometime in the future because they can’t get IOS input device support figured out. Our Splashtop Business account rep has already offered us a sweet deal to switch but we’re holding tight to see if ConnectWise can get this sorted in a reasonable amount of time. Splashtop Business isn’t a perfect solution either; however, they are light years better on IOS.

[Update]Great product, terrible app.
With the release of the magic keyboard for ipad the fact that your app still doesn’t support mouse and keyboard natively is becoming a huge issue for us. I am removing a star because of the lack of updates to the functionality to the app.
Really? Its 2020. There is no excuse that will justify how bad this app behaves with an iPad with proper mouse and keyboard support. Also If you need a reference just try and use the Jump Desktop RDP App or the Microsoft RDP app.
Also the scaling of remote screens and how the app handles it is terrible. With this app the way it is now you should be ashamed of yourselves that you call this a production release.

Just putting this review out there since there seems to be a lot of non-technical people giving bad reviews.
The new update for the app is fantastic! It’s much more usable now and they made a lot of improvements. Guest mode is awkward, but iOS made it to be awkward so there’s really no getting around that.
The interface is much improved and the ability to move the cursor around without having to find your “mini mouse” like in the old app is great. I’ve always thought teamviewer had a great mobile interface and the latest update from ConnectWise has made their app very comparable as far as the control side goes.
I wish the interface to connect with guests was easier to use. They place a webview in that accesses your screenconnect instance so they’re limited by web technology being a little clunky. If they made that mobile website version cleaner and more usable on mobile devices he whole experience would be a lot easier.
Also, please make the session last longer after logging into the screenconnect server! Seems like I have to type my password every time I want to connect to a guest machine.
