Countdown Buddy 4+

All of the other apps out there have so much extra fluff, are packed with ads, have annoying pop ups, requests to sign up/subscribe... this has none of that. If you pay you get more widgets but it has everything I want and isn’t weighed down with extra crap. The only thing I’d add is a custom color picker.

Update: I actually just upgraded to the paid version. The app was fully functional even before the upgrade. No annoying popup ads, it had what I wanted, and was enjoyable without feeling like it was only half an app. Because I appreciated that I decided to get the pro version. It has a few extra features like more countdowns and layouts, but it’s more like a perk (and one I’ll enjoy and gladly indulge in to support such a great developer).

Being able to see an event countdown in the ways that this allows me to has done wonders for the anxiety I often get when I have something coming up. My favorite is the one with the vertical bars! Being able to see a visual representation of how much time has passed, and how much time is left, in graph form is a mental relief! I decided to purchase this app within 5 minutes of downloading it after seeing all of the customization options! It is the perfect count down app for how my brain works.
And THANK GOD it’s not a subscription! Pay for it once, and it’s YOURS! Thank you so much!

I also have a suggestion for an idea: You could add a widget that has an hour glass graphic that slowly empties as the time counts down. Or even a flower that slowly blooms as it counts down.

First of all, I absolutely love this app. It’s so simple and easy to use, which is really nice. Also, I like how you can unlock everything for just $4. None of those stupid memberships that you constantly have to renew. And in my opinion, I think paying to unlock everything was worth it. I love knowing exactly how long until an event/holiday, so I definitely like this.
Also, a few suggestions: Maybe add an option to do custom gradients for the background? Like, instead of gradient automatically making it go one color dark to light, you could make it be a gradient with two colors. I also think it would be fun if you could make the background of your widget a GIF. And I think you should have an option to have an event automatically repeat once it’s been reached.
