Apparently, the only app that can actually do basic math. If I was to tell you that today is Jan 1st, and my special day is Jan 3rd, you would expect the lock screen to read “2 days”. All the other apps read “1 day” while this app understands that even though TECHNICALLY there is 1.5 days remaining, the user wants it to display 2 days. So thank you. This is exactly what I wanted.One suggestion: the image you select for an event does not seem to appear inside the widget on the lock screen. Not a huge deal, just slightly annoying.

So, I got this app today and I was really exited because I wanted a nice widget app to excite me more because I’m going to Tennessee on April 5 besides the point. This is a great app and you can make a widget and choose an emoji and name the event and everything but once you get to the end of setting everything up I’ll bring up a little pop up and say “unlock pro version” so I’m like close and then I hit done and then it only shows it when I’m in the app but on the ad before I got it it clearly said widget and that you can have it on your Home Screen so I thought about it and was like I wanted a widget app not only being able to see the countdown when I’m in the app so then I deleted the the reminder and decided I was going to try again so I named it again added my emojis and hit done and the same thing happened again it said upgrade to pro version so I’m like well it seems like they want me to pay $5.00 for a widget app and I wasn’t to happy about that so I then scrolled through the App Store looking for a free app and I couldn’t really find anything so then I decided I was just going to have to pay for the app because it was my only choice and i desperately wanted a app that was going to be a widget on my Home Screen so I paid for the app and it was definitely very easy to make the widget and have it on my Home Screen so that’s definitely a plus but this is just my opinion I feel that it shouldn’t have to be five dollars for a widget but thank you for making this app and I will definitely check out the other countdown apps you’ve made thank you and stay safe:))))

You would think with ALL of this technology out there, someone would be able to give us a lockscreen (or Home Screen) that can COUNT DOWN to your exiting event! I had to pay $5 to find out that this app is useless. Even after creating my “custom widget”, the widget on my homepage is just the icon for the app. No countdown. No pretty heart. Nothing. The Lock Screen Does have some numbers on it that if you’re looking around for and stare at you realize that is your countdown, but it’s not the pretty picture you picked out. It’s just numbers in white on your lockscreen. The only place I can see the picture is when I look at my watch. And it’s just a wallpaper of the last time I updated the countdown app widget. So you have to update it every day and add it to your watch face in order to watch your days count down. If you want the hours to count down too, well then you have to update the widget and add the picture to your watch face options hourly and so on. The only place where you actually see the picture AND the countdown (and the music if you want) is by opening the app. I tried reaching out to support but it’s in a different language and still after I click on the app support it says it doesn’t exist. This isn’t the right app. It’s not the one you’re looking for. DONT buy it. Unless you want to spend $5 on something you know isn’t what you’re paying for. I wish I could contact SOMEONE to get my $5 back because it’s just personal now.

Like others mentioned, you have to pay to get this to display as a widget. I kept the app anyway and just didn’t have a widget display since I didn’t want to pay. But my annoyance is that as soon as it hit midnight the day of my event, it started counting up. I never even saw 0 or saw it say that today is the day. It just automatically starts counting up yet it looks exactly the same. It doesn’t say “hours since” or anything. So at first glance it looks like it’s still showing X hours until your event. What’s the point of that?? I don’t need to know how long it’s been since the clock hit midnight the day of my event. And I didn't find any way to change it. It might sound dumb but most people do a countdown for the satisfaction of seeing “0 days until…” or whatever so I felt like I counted down to nothing.
