Better than my therapist

5 Days ago I would not have been able to or want to even write a review. I have recently been diagnosed with GAD. Sudden onset after getting a positive COVID result. An instant fire ran through my body. Ever since then I have had sensations I have never felt before. This is all day everyday. I have had a few good days. I don’t feel as if I had lots of anxious thoughts before. I Still have lots of questions of course. Now that I have DARE app I can calm down when my anxiety gets bad. Before I never knew anything about this anxiety. Dare has helped me fall asleep at night, breath, stop all different types of sensations, even face my fear of anxiety it’s self. Again I just started so I am still growing strength everyday. With the use of this app and the amazing creators I know I have it in me to overcome this. I really feel for the ones who have been dealing with this long before this. I can honestly say your strong and if you haven’t tried the DARE app I recommend it…. Highly recommend it. To the ones who have overcame this congrats and thank you for sharing what you have learned using DARE and what you felt helped you the most. I’m just amazed at how a different mental approach to anxiety and understanding it has made it diminish. I’m still working on this and will be using DARE everyday. Yes even after I have control over my anxiety. God bless.

Came back and I still love you Dare

I’ve suffered with anxiety my whole life and was diagnosed with panic disorder in 2020. I was put on meds which help a ton but there’s still times of life stress and nerves that trigger harder to manage anxiety. When my stress builds, so does my health anxiety and this causes many panic attacks and sleepless nights. This app is the reassurance you need when your mind is playing tricks and feeling derailed. I have never had results so quick from any one or anything than the exercises this app offers. The guided mental steps it helps you take to dissolve a panic attack. Whenever I feel one coming on especially before bed I can find just what I need for what I’m feeling and really listen and allow my body to gain back control. I recently had someone close to me pass and had to witness this tragedy which has been causing extreme stress and breakdowns. I remembered this app and redownloaded (which I only ever deleted thinking I wouldn’t need it again) but life has its downs and I knew I needed quick reassurance. And I got exactly that. No feeling alone and in doom of simple bodily sensations or passing thoughts. I’m going to continue to use this app especially in life’s harder times where your brain needs a pep talk. Thank you so much for creating this app. I think it’s saved me from spiraling back into many old habits and cycles.

Everyone with anxiety should know about Dare

This is the best way to address your anxiety!! When I was 11 I got this feeling that nothing around me was real and it was terrifying. It continued on for days and I had no idea how I would live like that so I looked into it. I found out it was a symptom of anxiety. My mom told me to read a book she had used before DARE and I started using the approach. For months I practiced it until the unreality feeling (Depersonalization/derealization) slowly began to happen less often, and when it did, I wasn’t scared anymore. What this approach does is make so that you are not afraid of your anxiety anymore, which makes it go away on its own. The goal of the four steps is to not mind that your anxiety is there and even “invite” it to stay.
The approach saved me from crying in class, not being able to sleep, interrupting daily activities, etc. I got it in 2022 February and it was gone by November. The process may go slower or faster for other people but if you put 100% effort into it every time you feel anxiety coming on it WILL work. I am 12 now and I don’t even think about it anymore, it was such a big deal back then but now it feels like nothing. Every once in a while I’ll get the sensation again but I don’t care anymore because I know it is completely harmless. THANK YOU DARE!!
