Defend by Tactacam 4+

I’ve been using the Defend application for a while, starting with one camera and now using five to monitor my large property. It works great for my driveway without requiring Wi-Fi. The app is simple, clean, and user-friendly. The cameras are robust, easy to set up, and have reliable cellular service. They’re highly sensitive to movement, with adjustable settings, though the default is effective. Compared to other products on the market, this has been a clear winner for me.

Great camera and really like the cell signal feature since I don’t have WiFi. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no zoom adjustment and the field of view is fairly narrow (as opposed to a Ring camera which is better suited for tighter spaces like porches, carports and garages) and it doesn’t pick up both of my entire vehicles, only about half of each one. Also, the badge app does not display a numbered count when I get an alert. That would be very helpful so I could glance at my phone and see them rather than relying on sounds or banners. Otherwise, I would recommend this camera provided your surveiled area is not too small.

I’ve been using it for a few months and it’s been great. I’ve been able to adjust the settings so that the battery lasts longer and I don’t have to change the batteries so often. Camera quality is wonderful!
