Great trading game, perfect for all ages!

Disney Collect! is a very well designed trading card app. It’s perfect for kids because the cards are beautiful, and they can collect a lot of different kinds and there are plenty of activities to keep them busy without having to worry that they are going to spend a lot of “real” money.

For more mature collectors, there are plenty of Rare and Super Rare cards that if they want to enhance their collection, they can buy Diamonds and pick up some special cards and awards.

I have one suggestion. When I collector attempts to get a special card like a (1:10 chance Daily Disney), if they fail to get the card, they should get a Daily Disney token in the pack. 15 or 20 tokens could then be converted into the card in the Workshop. This would cap the (1:10) odds at 15 or 20 tries. Sometimes you get lucky and you get a special card on one of your first tries, but when you’re trying for a 1:10 card and you’re on your thirtieth attempt it’s pretty frustrating and you start wondering if something is wrong with the game, even though it is statistically possible to have to try that many times. If you use my idea to cap the attempts at double the odds, the player’s stress would be taken out of the picture and the game would be more enjoyable! Thanks! And keep up the GREAT work! All of the recent enhancements to the app have been excellent improvements!

Feedback from a ux nerd

Just wanted to share some feedback as a designer... some buttons are inconsistent (some are rounded and some are angled) which is fine but I feel like could use some work just for consistency sake.
The most recent update with the purchase buttons being centered is uncomfortable since the type is aligned left. I liked it much better when the button was aligned left. Not sure if others are bothered by it but I am 😅
Also, I get that you’re trying to have people discussing among each other but switching the trade button and the reply button on the trade post, I think, is confusing. In other apps (swct at least) the trade and reply buttons are where they normally are. So going into the Disney app I keep pressing reply when I’m trying to make a trade with someone, I just think it would be easier switched back.
I like that you’re encouraging discussions between users on the app. But it’s still kind of clunky. It feels too open for others to see the discussion and I don’t know how you would fix it yet but I’m sure over time you’ll find something that will encourage us to discuss our collections. I still haven’t felt like doing so because I don’t reallllly know how it works.
Overall I think these updates have been really great! Since April when I started, it’s changed for the better in so many ways. Thanks for all the awesome content!

Great app if you like trading cards.

I’m a huge fan of trading cards, for two reasons: 1. The feeling of a good bartering system, and 2. Having sets of cards that look nice. That’s where this app excels! The sets here are really cool, and the award card is often worth it! Usually in the other Topps apps (i.e. Marvel, Star Wars, etc...) you’re only looking for individual cards and/or characters, since collecting all the cards in the individual sets are often not worth your time. But in this Disney Topps app the cards look good enough that they encourage you to collect the sets, not just the characters or individual cards; but the whole set, since the award card is worth it. The only down side is that once the date of an award passes, there is no other way to get that award but through trading, and more often than not, people won’t give up the award card, so you’re stuck. Even if you’re new, you cannot get the award card on your own, Topps should give newcomers a chance to collect old sets.
