Divoom: Pixel art community 4+

Great App

Great app for owners of the Divoom products. You can make a still art or animation of pretty much anything you want and put it on your device. They are also very generous with a coin system, so if you are good at pixel art/animations sign up even if you don’t have a device.

However I will say that the pixel art maker should be updated for convienience, and also for the sake of graphic design please change the font of some of the buttons (ex: clone frame button) to match the rest of the app. I will say that the pixel art maker is well over functional, just can get a bit annoying to use at times.

Overall great app, has some amazing artists and animators.

Great app for a great product!

I recently got myself a ditoo and it does everything and more than what I would ever want for it. It has been great. However, I’ve had some problems along using the app for it so I wanted to provide feedback on that as well as some suggestions for the app!

- I haven’t been able to use the planner feature as every time I try to add more than two different times I get a “Time Setting Failed” message no matter what I do.

- I really enjoy the notifications feature, however it would be great if we could add notifications for other apps and we could create our own notifications banners!

- Speaking of notifications. It may or not may not be user error, but only a few of them work (like WhatsApp or Instagram) when others don’t (twitter or Snapchat)

- It would be great to see a feature to turn videos into animations much like how we can use pictures to do so.

- When playing regular audio in music or videos the speaker sounds great. However, when I receive a call the sound quality dramatically drops for both me and the person I’m speaking too. The same happens for the voice memo feature as the recorder audio sounds bad.

I really enjoy the app and I’m excited to see what comes in the future!

Love the speaker, hate the app

I love my speaker but this app leave a lot to be desired. The connection to the light (as opposed to the audio) is very wonky; most times the device doesn’t even recognize that I am already connected to the Bluetooth (since music is already playing through the speaker) yet I can’t control the display since that, for some reason, doesn’t connect simultaneously along with the audio. The only solution is to disconnect and reconnect to the Bluetooth, meaning the audio would be interrupted and have to restart.

The app itself requires too many taps in certain pages in order to navigate and recent searches don’t display automatically; you have to pretend to search for a user to see your recent search terms.

Five stars for the actual speaker (I even gifted one to my brother for Christmas and he loved it) but a generous two stars for the app.
