Description
Enpass: the “offline” password manager for a secure digital life.
“Offline” means we don’t store your passwords, credentials or files on our servers. You keep control of your most sensitive information – your data is stored (encrypted) locally on your devices, and, you can still synchronize it across your devices using your own cloud accounts, without sending it to our servers.
HIGHLIGHTS
◆ Offline: No data on our servers.
◆ Stores everything: Secure vault for your logins, credit cards, bank accounts, driving licenses, attachments or any other information.
◆ Unbeatable security: 100% data is encrypted by AES-256 bit, using open-source SQLCIPHER Engine.
◆ Data synchronization: Syncs data through iCloud, Dropbox, WebDAV, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, Nextcloud, Wi-Fi, or local WLAN network.
◆ Breach monitoring: Get alerts to change passwords when any of your websites saved in Enpass are breached.
◆ Multiple vaults: Separate your personal, family and work data in different vaults.
◆ Password autofill: Autofills passwords in apps, Safari and other supported browsers with just one tap.
◆ Biometric authentication- Supports use of Face ID/Touch ID for quick unlock to access information.
◆ Import from others: You can easily import your passwords from other software, to Enpass, using the desktop version.
PASSWORDS WHEN AND WHERE YOU NEED THEM
- Stop getting locked out of your accounts and struggling with continual password resets. Remember just one master password and let Enpass take care of the rest.
- Create strong, unique passwords for all your online accounts.
- Autofill logins and credit card details to automatically access your accounts.
- Automatically check for old, weak or compromised passwords.
- Access your information on all your computers and mobile devices.
- Choose where you store your personal data – on your own device(s) and/or in your own personal cloud storage (iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, WebDAV or Nextcloud).
- Synchronize your data between your devices via your cloud accounts or “cloudlessly” via WiFi.
ORGANIZE YOUR DIGITAL LIFE
- Enpass not only takes care of your passwords; it keeps all your credit cards, driving licenses, loyalty and membership cards and other personal files and identities secure.
- Keep the documents and credentials needed for the different areas of your life (personal, family and work) in separate vaults.
- Organize your information using categories and tags.
- Share passwords and more with team and family members.
SECURITY IS IN OUR DNA
- Security of your data is our priority and this starts with where it is stored. Unlike other password managers we do not store any of your passwords and files on our servers.
- Your data is fully encrypted with 256-bit AES with a key derived from 100,000 iterations of PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA512.
- We do not store or have any access to or visibility of your master password or any of your encrypted data.

Ratings and Reviews
One of THE essential apps to have
I’ve been a long user of this app. So long ago, it was back when the pro subscription was only 10 dollars! The app back then was rough on the edges, but it had promise. I was looking for a simple and relatively affordable password manager ever since I realized keeping a dusty notepad of passwords was not exactly a good idea (Back then I had like 50 logins). Having faith in the popularity of password managers, I stuck around with this one, even with talks of 1Password, LastPass and others started to show promise.
Fast forward to now, and this app is...unbelievable. I love this app hands down. I use it all the time, personal, work, and just about anything that I need to securely keep. The fact that the company always allowed you to choose where you can store your info as well as avoiding a subscription policy (which now there is one do, BUT the option to go lifetime is STILL a thing) has always made me love this application. The app is not perfect compared to the competitors, (1pass has a nicer editing interface and browser plugin) BUT the things that keep Enpass above them is all of the benefits I mentioned earlier. Those in my opinion, are what really makes Enpass valuable and stand out. And to see them stand strong on those ideas makes me really happy to be a loyal user of their product. Thanks Enpass for the continued support and growth of a phenomenal application!

Top notch and great all around
After password switched to subscription model I was less then thrilled that it seemed as though even if you purchased the software out right you were still limited if you were not using the subscription version. I got on Enpass by chance as everyone else was doing subscription. I’m not against subscription models but I feel as though early investors did not sign up for that and should not be penalized because there is a change in company structure moving forward. In comes Enpass, I purchased it for both iOS and Windows and less than a year after doing so they switch to subscription based model. Here we go again or so I thought, not only did Enpass honor my early adoption purchase but they do not skimp on the features either moving forward. The app is so good even if I were just now finding out about it I would get it even with a subscription because they do not try to pull the covers out from under you when they I open et any change. This goes a long way. I am so glad to use this app and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid password manager that has all the features that the other guys have and more 😀
Upgrade your life!
Aside from being a password manager, I love that Enpass has so many pre-built items for you to simply drop your content into (e.g., insurance card, passport, drivers license). I’ve got all my login credentials and important info all in one spot. It feels super secure and the ability to customize everything to your tastes makes this better, in my mind, than 1Password, LastPass — all of ‘em.
Regarding price and subscriptions: Enpass costs next to nothing compared to the competition. And, don’t you want to keep continuous development going on something that is securing your sensitive, digital content? If $1/month (i.e., $12/year) is too much or you’re offended by a subscription model, stop it. Real software requires subscriptions for continuous, streamlined development. Paying a lump sum doesn’t make sense and any outfit that’s in it for the long haul will switch to it if they haven’t already. If you don’t agree, you don’t know how software is designed and maintained.
