This thing is great. I travel a lot and I bought an extra phone. So normally I have to buy a SIM card when I land. However in some countries you cannot buy a SIM card at the airport. So this takes away all of the uncertainty and need for an extra phone; and requirement to look for a store to pay for a SIM card. I would definitely recommend it.

This app is a scam. It auto-charged my credit card every week after my initial use without my permission. I only used it for one week, then realized weeks later that it had been charging me weekly. Unlike other apps that clearly notify you about auto-renewals and allow you to manage subscriptions through Apple settings, this one hides the cancellation inside the app.Even after canceling, I couldn’t remove my credit card from the app settings. I had to report the overcharges to my credit card company. The support is terrible, unhelpful, and the setup of the SIM card itself was confusing and frustrating. Overall, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with an app. Stay away.

Cards can be removed once the term ends. If you still have unused data, please contact us in-app or by email esim-support@municorn.com with your receipt, and we’ll help with a refund request.

eSIM never activated after following all instructions and waiting several hours. Support was not available since it was a weekend and they will not issue a refund saying I did not provide screenshots of the issue days later when support was available and I had already purchased an eSIM that works. This company is a joke. Many others to choose from, avoid this one. Holafly worked immediately, I would recommend them. The developer responds to reviews saying you can request a refund but it has been 16 days of multiple requests and have not received it to date.

Great option for international travel

I got this for a trip to Costa Rica. The eSIM worked well, and once I turned roaming on with the travel eSIM, all was good. The only thing I’d suggest is having a back-up phone charger for longer trips (like a portable Morphie charger). Since the phone is on roaming, it tends to eat up the battery.
