App Needs Upgrades

I’m new to the Faster Way program, so am not here to review it, rather I have a couple of comments for the developers about the app.
First, for the most part the app is very intuitive. Everything required for tracking food and exercise is on the app, as well as dozens of resources at your fingertips. The app is attractively designed and easy to navigate, except….

PLEASE update the food log. Users should be able to add custom weights and measurements to their food. For example, if I’m weighing chicken, the only options I have for weights are pre-set. The only option to adjust the weight is to adjust how many servings of a specific weight I am logging. If I’m having 5.7 ounces of chicken, there should be an option to manually type “5.7”, rather than figuring out how many of the FW pre-set servings 5.7 is. I’ve used other food logging apps like Noom and My Fitness Pal that have this feature. It is a game changer for the user to be very specific about food weights and measurements, and clearly can be done.

Second, please work on the navigability of adding items to meals and snacks. We should be able to add multiple items to a meal or snack without being taken back to the main nutrition menu, scrolling down to that meal or snack, then going through the entire process again for each subsequent food.

For a program that costs $199, the app needs to step up its game and be much more user friendly.

All-in-one, just open and go!

I love this app! It’s easy to use and I can plug in a suggested meal plan for ease, search through a wide variety of recipes, find the ingredients and directions so easily to make the meals, find my workout of the day or pick my own from the digital library, find resources to learn more about core, mindset, hormones, etc. I can track my macros (whether I use the FW meal plans and recipes or my own), water intake, workouts, fasting to balance out my day for better health, my measurements and progress, as well as get support. And the incentives of stars and badges as I track is a fun addition.

One suggestion is to make it possible to enter multiple foods for a meal rather than going back and forth. It is not difficult to enter foods by any stretch of the imagination but it could be simpler.

Bible Thumping Disguised as Weight Loss

The first workout I did was a HIIT workout and I barely broke a sweat. I thought it was weird that one of the instructors went off on a tangent about David and Goliath between sets but as I got deeper into the app, I realized the entire program is a proselytizing, Bible thumping program. They allow you to select Vegan options in the meal plan but there is no secular option for the program. Had I known that I was inviting in the “annoying knock on your door to preach at you people” into my life, I never would have joined. My relationship with God is just that, my relationship. I do not inflict my beliefs on anyone nor do I want anyone’s beliefs inflicted on me. The coach I have is ridiculous. When I told her the workout was insufficient, she told me to do my own workout. A couple hours later she said to do the program workout. Make up your mind! I’m out! When I feel like getting preached at I’ll go to church. And when I want a real workout class I’ll go to BeachBody or BODI as they are now called.
