FAX from iPhone・Send & Receive 4+

Those involved in NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) deal with therapists, psychiatric hospitals, doctors, and social workers who won’t answer our calls or emails. Some might not communicate back to us due to HIPAA. Others just couldn’t be bothered. We can, however, communicate to them our concerns and observations. One tip shared in a NAMI family support group was to FAX them information (ex. mental health/medical health history doc). I have been helping someone navigate getting help for a loved one. FAXER has been one of the rare wins we’ve encountered on this journey! Our success with FAXER was shared in our NAMI family support group. With FAXER you have a record of your history - w/date & time sent and received, as well as clear visuals of your cover letter and document - all sent and visible on one’s iphone!

I wish I could give this app more stars ! I don’t drive and hate depending on people for rides. So when I needed to fax over work documents to my doctor’s office immediately I typed in a search for fax apps and this was the first one that came up.

At first I was skeptical thinking it wouldn’t send because it’s an app and sometimes things like this can be too good to be true. Within minutes of sending out the fax I got a notification saying it was sent and received. Yes, it’s a monthly subscription but it’s definitely much cheaper and easier then going to fedex or ups !

Once in a while, I find the need to fax documentation, signature, medical information. When I’m on the road getting access to readily available fax can be challenging. If it’s on the weekend I have to wait for the UPS store to open. I have attempted to use a couple of other apps that were minimum $9-10. This app was easy to use. Easy to pay with and at $.49 for a day use, super reasonable. this will absolutely be my go to fax app going forward.
