It seems you can only upload photos from the iOS app. It doesn’t look like you can access the files app or other apps like Dropbox or google drive. You can upload other file types (pdf, etc.) from the website, but not through the app. Major shortcoming for this app!!!
App doesn’t work - Completely Useless!

After creating my account online, I decided to download the FidSafe app from the Apple AppStore to more easily access my account. After logging in with my email and password, the application goes to a new screen stating that I have chosen to verify my identity using security questions and asks me to answer the following security question. However, there is no question actually listed, only a space to provide the answer. There are also no options for 2-factor authentication or any other options to verify my identity besides answering a question that is never actually provided to give the user any clue on how to answer. I tried entering an answer I thought it was, however it just gave me an error and wouldn’t let me continue. This app is completely useless and a waste of time. Don’t waste your time until all of the bugs are addressed.

I just noticed an upgrade released in a long time and downloaded it. And finally I can see it’s moving to the right direction. It has the much needed feature of scanning and file upload. Specifically the scanning works like magic, it’s much faster than any other scanning app I used.
Has Support & Development Stopped for FidSafe

I have been setting up my family on FidSade via the web browser. However, when I come to the app, I see it hasn’t been updated in 2+ years. I will be reconsidering whether FidSafe is the right solution for my family. It is also unclear if the web browser version is still supported.
This update includes ability to upload files and scan documents from the camera.
