Works amazingly well

I was hesitant to buy this app. We live in an un-fenced rural area and have a large dog that likes to roam. However, it’s super accurate and I always know where my dog is. I made “danger zone” fences on the app so I know immediately if my dog goes to a neighbors area that’s off limits. Very handy!
The only thing I can’t figure out is why the dog’s mileage for the day shows up in a weird percentage icon that doesn’t seem accurate at all. Like he’ll log 7 miles in a day and it shows “50%of goal “ . So l guess he has to run 14 miles in a day to reach this goal (that I never set, btw). Other times 3 miles will earn him a 75%.. so this part is weird. I love the app for tracking location, I don’t care about miles, so all good. Highly recommend if you want to keep track of where your dog is going. Oh, and the GPS mapping that shows everywhere your dog went that day is awesome! Only wish the “danger zones” I set up would overlay on the GPS map so I could see if he’d gone AWOL when I wasn’t looking!

HORRIBLE

DO NOT buy Findster products! Their customer service is TERRIBLE. We purchased a GPS and 3 module trackers for my dogs as a Christmas gift. The connection is terrible, my dogs could be 25 yds from me, in an open field and it loses signal. Besides the connection, the GPS map is so blurry on my phone you can't hardly tell where anything is. Such a big disappointment. Not being able to track the dogs defeats the whole reason we had bought them. I tried asking them to return it but they said we didn't return it within the 30 day grace period... I explained it was bought as a Christmas gift. It was purchased Dec 15, given as a gift Dec 29th, we tried it on the 1st. I tried troubleshooting issues and gave up. I sent an email Jan 22 requesting my money back. I was well within my 30 days of trying the product from when I sent them an email - but no, they reiterated they must stick to their rules and follow the 30 days from purchased date to when I requested to return the item. No exception - even though it was during the Christmas holiday when things are purchased before hand. All I can say they must not have that much confidence in their product to not back it up.

I use this app for my cat, and I’ve been really enjoying it

I have used this app to let my cat have more freedoms on our walks for the past 4 months now. She’s a small cat so the actual tracking device is a bit large, but we have it on the back of a harness and she gets over it quickly each time we put it on. She loves so much going whenever she wants, and I like it bc I can see that she’s connected to my app even though I can’t see she physically (she’s a tortie so she blends in with everything.)

I think there’s improvements to be made, like the geofencing details and getting closer pinpoints in locations in the map mode. But the compass part of the app is good enough to find her at close range. It’s an incredibly good start for a product and app. And I like not having to pay for gps carrier fees.
