First Arriving is the internal communications platform for fire, EMS and police departments. It puts the information that matters to your stations, leadership and personnel in one place, and keeps everyone on the same page wherever they are: at the station, on a call or off shift.
Your department publishes it once. Every member sees it on their phone.
STAY INFORMED
News and announcements: department news, incident updates and personnel announcements, with photos and full details. Filter by category or search to find what you need.
Events: trainings, drills, meetings and community events with the date, time and location, so nobody misses what is coming up.
Videos: training and briefing videos from your department, ready to watch on any shift.
Document library: SOPs, policies, forms and reference material, organized by category and always the current version.
STAY ACCOUNTABLE
Acknowledgements: when your department needs confirmation that you have read a policy, an SOP update or an announcement, read it and acknowledge it in a tap. Leadership sees who has confirmed and who still needs to.
Notification center: every acknowledgement request and message sent to you in one list, with what is pending, what is overdue and what is done.
STAY CONNECTED
Platform Connect: one tap to the other systems your department relies on, such as scheduling, ePCR, training records and supply orders.
FOR LEADERSHIP AND STAFF
Department staff publish news, events, documents, videos and links from the app or the web, attach photos from the camera or photo library, require acknowledgements on anything important, and track completion across the department.
GETTING STARTED
The First Arriving App is for members of departments that use the First Arriving platform. Your department provides your account; there is no public sign-up. Sign in opens your department's sign-in page in the browser and brings you back to the app.
