I’ve never rated an app, but had to share my appreciation for FitRadio! Worth the subscription, cost is super affordable and effective whether I’m looking for a coach guided workout or just some tunes for motivation. Love the DJ’s music variety as well as workout variety. I’d love to see a couple enhancements- 1) Allow user to Favorite a workout not just a music play list, 2) Provide a view to preview coached guided cardio workouts. Currently, you can see the coach’s brief summary, but you have to actually Start the workout in order to view the time intervals, pace, incline, etc. Can’t see that I’d ever have the need for personal training, this app gives me exactly what I need with plenty of choices and variety. I’ve never been a runner, but with the help and motivation of the coach guided treadmill workouts, I’ve been able to not only run for longer durations and increase times, but it’s helped me shed 35+ pounds. (Along with a clean diet of course). Even days I don’t feel like going to the gym, I know that I’ll be able to find a good playlist and commit to a 30 minute workout without regret. I share this app with anyone who currently works out and those trying to incorporate a gym routine into their day to day.

I LOVE the music. The treadmill coaching has literally helped me lose 20 pounds so far of my 100 pound weight loss goal. My only complaint (it’s really sad and disappointing hence the low stars) is that the voice coaching is not available on the Apple Watch. I would rather you pick, for example in the genre “top 40”, a mix that is popular and then merge the voice coaching onto it and make it a single “song” and then allow me to play that on my Apple Watch. I know the Apple Watch doesn’t allow dual play. So get creative! Record a couple of the workouts with voice coaching and the mix in the background together and make those Apple Watch friendly. So you don’t need dual play. They would be static voice coaching and a mix recorded together as 1 entity. This is the most amazing app for workout par none! The DJs are great and the workouts are motivational and as fun as a workout that challenges you can be. I do have a few suggestions to make it even better! Have an option for no music. Sometimes I like to watch my favorite show while a workout and I currently can not do that. Have the option for how much motivation you need during the workout. Sometimes I like to try a workout that is harder than I normally do and I would like the coaches to motivate me more so I won’t quit early. Have the option to set a time for notifications to come to my phone when I should be getting up and working out from the coaches. Like I said this app is amazing!

Forced to use this app at a gym and coming from superior streaming apps. There is no ability to create personal mixes that fit member base make up. Teenage boys and girls make up most of our demographic. Even with with explicit setting turned on, most playlist feature songs with strong sexual suggestions. No playlist is safe from this, including country party which features the rap song Savage-Swing as its 3rd song in the mix and Miss New Booty later on. Every mix is not truly randomized which means if you do find a decent playlist, you will hear the same songs, in the same order, every single time. Redundant and mind numbing. Most songs are filled with extra DJ noise and scratches just filling the air with chaotic nonsense. The sound quality overall is poor and not up to par of other streaming services. After just a handful of times of streaming these playlists for drills, I have received handfuls of complaints and get brutally roasted by the youth players. This radio is overall embarrassing for the user/instructor and cringe for the clients that have to participate with it playing the noise it spews.
