Fixture Tester is an application to test all the fixtures in the network using Art-Net or sACN. Fixtures can be added manually or an already existing patchlist from ELC Lighting's dmXLAN can be imported. When there are fixtures selected, the associated macros like 'Lamp on' can be run on the selected fixtures. To test whether or not the fixtures have the correct address, there is the address test. This test homes the selected fixtures one by one automatically at an adjustable speed. To test the various functions of the selected fixtures there is the parameter test. This test first homes all the selected fixtures. Then it runs all parameters from 0 to 255 and back, one by one.
Custom libraries and patchlists can be downloaded in Fixture Tester with iTunes, ELC lighting's dmXLAN v4 or FileUploader, which is a free download at www.bartvanstiphout.com. Patchlists can also be shared using Airdrop, mail or other applications. Using an ethernet node, the universes can be converted to a Dmx signal.
Since version 1.7 it is also possible to program the dmXLAN Nodes from ELC lighting.

Pressing that will try to find the corresponding RDM Device. When found, the RDM button will show a checkmark and you can press it to go directly to its properties.
- When you have selected a RDM Device and there is a corresponding Fixture found, it will show you when the mode is not correct.

Added Output settings:
- sACN Priority
- Prefer ELC Take Over: When a universe is detected on the present ELC nodes, no sACN or Art-Net will be sent but the ELC Take over commands will be sent as dmXLAN does when controlling a fixture.

- Fixtures with a note in the .dxl file will be marked flagged.
- Cellular data now can be used simultaneous with Wi-Fi. There is no need to manual set a router, DNS server and search field anymore. There is a Wi-Fi indicator to verify you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- When a .dxl file is loaded, you now can program the ELC lighting nodes with the settings of that file. When available, press the “Program” button at the top right corner when in the port list of that node.

Flag Fixtures & Groups
You can flag and unflag them by swiping the cell to the left. Also, when doing an Address Test, you can flag Fixtures.
Improved Filter:
- Default (Shows fixtures or groups matching the text filter)
- Flagged (Shows only flagged Fixtures and Groups, matching the text filter)
- Universe (Shows all fixtures for the typed universe)
Improved RDM Reordering of RDM Devices
Now there are Next & Previous buttons for searching the next RDM Device to be addressed. In between there is an align button that aligns the selected RDM Device to the last aligned RDM device. In this way you can address the RDM Devices without looking at your iOS device over and over again. Furthermore, if you pull the RDM Device list down, a new RDM Discovery will be executed.
Share your files!
Now you can share your patchlists from the "Manage Patchlist" menu. Swipe the patchist you would like to share to the right and click share. Select you favourite method (Mail, WhatsApp, etc..) and done! When you've received a new patchlist and FixtureTester is already open, it will ask you whether you want to open it right away or later. To open a patchlist from a mail attachment for instance, click on the file and then select "Copy to FixtureTester".
