I'm a realtor and I found out that forewarn was provided to us through our organization. On my way to an appointment I made to show some property I decided to put the number of the person who I was meeting in the app. I was surprised to find out that this person had been convicted of kidnapping. Also many other gun charges and things I wouldn't have wanted to run into. Now I understand that a charge can cover an umbrella of things however I don't want to be involved with anything associated with kidnapping. Im truly thankful that I was able to know this information before I was possibly in a position that I couldn't get out of. If you haven't downloaded please do. You can use number, name, any info you may know. It may help.

The newest update UI is brutally terrible. The small changes they made was good but now the missing match keys dont show so everything that pops up as a potential match looks fully valid even if birthday doesnt check out because it doesnt show whether a key matches or not it just shows matched keys which is brutal. I liked the colored tabs too when it was green for fully clean record and yellow for warning. The old version was far superior for screenshotting and using as background check for records on file. This version is nearly impossible to screenshot full record with names. Not sure who’s deciding the UI but it should go back to where it was for sure.

This is really great because as realtors, we get so many calls that are Spam and people trying to sell us junk and that are using Google phone numbers, etc. this allows me to cut right through that and see if the person is the person they say they are and also for safety reasons to make sure that you don’t put yourself in any dangerous position by taking someone to go see a home by yourself that you don’t know and that has a criminal record

I found the app to provide very little value. Most of the numbers that calls are received from are spam or unregistered, leading to frequent dead-end searches. Additionally, they require a 12-month contract, which is not clearly advertised but hidden in the fine print. This is a poor business practice, especially for a service that should not demand such a long-term commitment. If you no longer find value in the service or your business needs change, you should be able to cancel without being locked into a lengthy contract. Furthermore, the app feels outdated. I expected to be able to update information like billing directly within the app, but instead, this information is provided in a PDF at signup, and any changes must go through customer support. Overall, I found the app to be useless and a waste of money.
