What's New in v1.1.5 Jobs now use a numbered list of steps instead of Notes and Recommendations text boxes. Tap Add Step to add one, tap to type, drag to reorder, swipe to delete. Old jobs convert automatically the first time you open the app. Your notes are still there, split into steps. Each step has its own photos. Tap a photo to see it full-screen. Tap the red X to delete one. Use the arrow buttons under each photo to move it left or right. PDF exports show STEPS where they used to show NOTES, matching what's on screen. The Tools list drops the "Individual Tools" subheader. Personal, Shop, and Borrowed labels remain. Coming next: a PDF layout overhaul that puts each step's photos right under that step instead of grouped at the top, and improved voice notes with better transcription. Known issue: dragging a step past another step that has photos can bounce around before settling. Fix coming in the next update.

What's New in 1.1.4 Mostly under the hood. This one's groundwork. Nothing on screen looks different yet. Your jobs, notes, photos, and tools all behave like they did in 1.1.2. Coming next: notes turn into steps. The next update will turn the Notes field on each job into editable step-by-step entries — write a step, attach a photo to that step, reorder them as the job goes. We're laying the rails for that here so the switch is clean when it ships. Old jobs stay safe. Your existing notes are preserved exactly as written. When the next update lands, you'll see them broken out into numbered steps automatically — no re-typing, no lost text. We keep the original copy as a backup either way. Print and share work the same. PDFs, AirDrop, .frojob handoff — all unchanged in 1.1.4.

What's New in 1.1.2 Up to 15 photos per job. Old cap was 5. Plenty of room now for before/after, part numbers, safety wire shots, log time. References field, not TM References. Same field, broader name. Use AMM, CMM, SB, AD, IPC, TM, whatever your manual calls for. The example text shows a few formats. Attach PDFs when you create a job. Cal certs, AD/SB pages, manual excerpts. Drop them in at job creation, not just on edit. A Falcon sample job to play with. Fresh install opens with a Millennium Falcon hyperdrive job. Tap through it to see how a complete entry looks. Delete when you're ready to log your own work. Cleaner filters in the Garage. Filter pills that wouldn't match any tools drop off the bar. Tap to narrow, watch the options shrink. No more dead pills. Calibration tile lands clean. Tap Calibration Tracker on the Dashboard. What's new since the App Store release: Reminders that match your shift • Set your own Close of Business time. Borrow/lend reminders fire at the end of YOUR shift instead of a generic default. • Set your own end-of-week day too perfect if your week wraps on Thursday instead of Friday. • Change either one and FRO offers to reschedule any reminders you already have on the books. • Reminder dates are now visible right on the active lend rows, so you can see at a glance when something's due back. Files & sharing • Tap a backup, job, or tool file from Messages, AirDrop, Mail, or Files it opens straight in FRO and offers to import. • Long-press a FRO file → "Open With" now lists FRO with its icon. Backups • Settings → Export Data now packs everything (data + photos + voice memos) into a single file you can re-import. • New "Import Backup" button in Settings handles both new and legacy backup formats. • If a photo can't be backed up, you'll be told how many were skipped instead of the export silently shipping incomplete. Reliability • Save errors in lend/return flows now surface a popup instead of pretending the save worked. • Crash reports captured quietly on your phone nothing leaves the device unless you tap "Share Diagnostics." Security • Hardened backup-import validation against malicious archives (caps on entry count and total size, path-traversal blocked). • Per-import limits prevent runaway extracts from filling disk. Plus a round of smaller bug fixes.
