Every update is a downgrade

I want to keep using the app. I do like the news stories…well, most of them, but less now. But the ads keep becoming more and more pervasive. I think the is now more ad content than news content. And each time the ads get worse, the app gets more glitchy. I am constantly having to close and restart the app. Now, to add insult to injury, sports articles are suddenly 25-33% of the articles, regardless of the section. Just browsed through “lifestyle” and at least 3 of the 4 articles under more than 6 subheadings (food&drink, travel, faith, family, pets, …) are sports articles.!?! If I wanted to read sports articles, I’d go to the sports section. It’s really becoming more work (and battery!) than it’s worth. Please save the app. Because while you keep publishing articles touting more minutes devoted to your app than other news sites, it’s really not something to brag about. Because now you’re just torturing your users instead of delivering content.

Fonts are too small

I can’t read the text on some pages because the fonts are too small. There doesn’t seem to be any way to increase the size.
