Add order tracking to app
In the age of Grub Hub, Postmates, etc. where you can track both of the cooking status of your order, and especially the GPS route of the driver, and get notifications when the driver has left, is near you, etc. this app is super primitive. There is no way to know what is going on with your order. You get one confirmation email that says that your order is been placed and give you an estimate. Beyond that it’s just been totally in the dark until your order finally shows up. Mine was way past estimated time so I called the restaurant try to find out what was going on and they didn’t really know either other than the driver had left along time ago. It would be good to know if the driver was lost or not anywhere near me if I could see him on a GPS tracker. Also I think they prioritize orders from this app at the very bottom of their priorities. I think they still take post needs GrubHub at Cetera ahead, and of course they’re in store customers. My wait time with other third-party apps to get my food was always half the time, and even my estimated time through this app. It actually ended up being about 30 minutes longer than the estimate over 90 minutes. I can usually get my food and 35-40 minutes to GrubHub, post mates, etc. The whole experience is just really behind the times both in the interface of the app and how they as a business prioritize customers via this app.
Simply does not work!
For the past two weeks this we have been unable to complete the simple purchase of a pizza with this app. Last week every attempt to get a pizza delivered gave an error that Google Map service couldn’t find our address. This was true for EVERY address we tried to use, which included friends and our offices.
Tonight, the app kept giving us errors on payment when we tried to use a gift card (and yes, we verified he balance on it). Not to mention the poor functionality of the app itself: where you’re supposed to enter the payment amount it gives you a phone-type number pad which gives you no way to enter a decimal! Also, clicking “next” as you’re entering info does NOTHING. You have to click “done” for each item. That took a while to figure out.
Oh, and their website says you save 10% by using the app but no such discount was taken; in fact, when we gave up and called the order in to our local FB it was actually cheaper than the total on the app!
Summary: a flawed app that literally makes ordering a pizza (you know, it’s one and only job) impossible. Unacceptable.
Gift cards and split payments don’t work!
I’ve now lost the balance of 2 or 3 gift cards trying to use them on the app or website. Removes the balance but order fails. Last time I emailed “corporate” but never received a response. Just tried a few minutes ago to use new split payments. Keypad had no decimal so I had to copy/paste the payment amount but then got an error when I tried to complete order, error 500. I ended up just using credit card and it went through although the option to add a tip seems to have disappeared too. Love your food but please fix your app!
