"Game of the Gods" is a medieval, text based role playing game.
"Game of the Gods" is a medieval, text based role playing game. You get into the shoes of Tokar, a mercenary with a dark past and you are responsible for keeping him alive, while learning his story by putting together the pieces. You get resources based on your decisions throughout the chapters and earn rewards at the end.

A wonderful free story game
At first glance you may think this is reminiscent of a d&d inspired game, but upon playing this game more it reminded me more of a story book chose your own path. Once you get started the reading seems heavy but it gets much easier and enjoyable the more you get involved in the story. An amazing feature the encourages this appears when words, phrases, nicknames etc... show up that are specific to this universe you can tap on them to read more about them so that you’re not confused. The last feature I feel is worth praise is the earnable “In game currency”, and though it seems sketchy at first it does well to not make is seem oppressive, it can be earned for a variety of things and you can avoid using it all together.
Though most wont read this review, this game is worth the Free Download.
Outstanding Choose Your Own Adventure style game
This game captures everything I love about Choose Your Own Adventure stories and makes it better! The writing is well done, the fantasy setting is immersive, and the App function is smooth and easy to use. Anyone who has spent time in the Forgotten Realms will feel right at home is this story. I really enjoy getting a score at the end of each chapter based on the number of good decisions I made. I have played through the first 3 chapters and can’t wait for more. In the meantime I’m replaying the game to try to unlock the achievements I missed and get a better score. I highly recommend this game.
Loved the game but got weirded out and deleted the app
Played and replayed the game, because I love it and I think it’s wonderfully done, but then I started getting an “update available” message in-game, which prompted me to click okay and that the screen would blink and the update would be complete... but there was no update in the App Store; I’m savvy enough to know that is unusual, so I decided to delete the app instead of doing that. I’ll try back in a while and hope I see an update here; it’s a great game and I was really looking forward to chapter 5.
