If I could give this app 0 stars I would

I like the idea of being able to have a second business number without having a separate phone to use. However, this app is very glitchy and has bugs. There are many times where I cannot either save contact information, place a call or send a text message, which is a huge convenience considering that I am using this for business purposes. I have made sure my software on my phone is up-to-date, the app is updated itself and I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled it. I’ve reached out to customer service to no avail. The only solution after all of the troubleshooting techniques was to use the desktop version which you have to occasionally log in and out and I can’t receive push notifications. Lastly, besides it being glitchy there’s no option to delete messages that I no longer need.

As a result, I decided to close my account and started using a different service. At the time, the rep who I spoke with was informed I wanted a pro-rated refund on my subscription. What I did not know and was never informed that I was beyond the period to receive a pro-rated refund. Had I known I would’ve kept the number at least until the end of the subscription period. I filed a claim explaining the bad service, being uninformed about subscription cancellation policy and was denied.

I’ll never use this service in future!

I’ve had the SmartLine app since I started my business almost two years ago. There’s always been a ton of bugs but I still used it. Now my app has been merged with this conversations app. I THOUGHT Okay cool maybe it will get better but it does the complete opposite. I now can not call or text my clients for 15 days because I’m not “verified” I’ve already been through this process. I was told that this was a glitch via chat and that it should be fixed in two days. It wasn’t. So I did what I was told next, which was to call. Hold was six minutes, after 15 I disconnected due to work. Someone did text me since I disconnected and I do like that feature, but they also were no help. They don’t answer my questions and say things that I honestly don’t get. They say the opposite of what their first support member said. Which okay it happens. People are new yada yada. all I know now is I can’t use my business phone for two weeks at least and I fully still don’t understand why due to the different answers. This is affecting us honestly. We need to be able to communicate with our clients ! I’ll be going and buying another phone because this app is unreliable , even more than SmartLine and their support is AWFUL. I’m 30 and have worked in customer service and HR my entire life , this is the very first review I’ve ever left so that also says something.

Horrible

The app doesn’t work at all. Had smartLine from GoDaddy and it was great. The developer parted ways with GoDaddy so GoDaddy did a conversion over to Conversations. That’s what GoDaddy told us. IT’S BEEN A NIGHTMARE. Caller ID doesn’t work, the work around is to go into settings shutting off cell use and only being able to use when on Wi-Fi. If not on Wi-Fi then you don’t know who’s calling in, no caller ID. For an “on the go” app to not be able to be on the go makes no sense. Can not receive or send any form of media clip. They said they had to roll it out before they were done. Contact’s do not sync. If you add a contact on conversations then you have to add it again into your cell phone. If you add it into your cell phone then you have to go into the app to “import” the contact. If you add it into app then you have to add it again into your cell contacts. So basically 2 different databases that you have to manually keep updating and importing. So much manual up keeping daily. If you don’t type and input the contacts exactly the same then you have 2 different contacts created. messages are very slow to come in, delayed. If you send a text out it doesn’t go to the top of your messages. Only receive bed messages do. So bad. THEY ROLLED IT OUT BEFORE TESTING IT AND THEY SAID THEY KNOW ITS NOT WORKING BUT HAD TO GET THE APP OUT. Makes me question GoDaddy now.
