Goody – Easy Gifting 4+

I feel compelled to leave a good review on this app because when I was placing my order I noticed a lack of reviews that confirmed with certainty the gift arrived. Timeline; I placed the order on Monday and the gift (I got the MacLab MACAROONS) arrived four days later on Friday. Can’t comment on the quality however I am more than pleased with the service and the amount of time it took for the order to arrive. Will definitely be using Goody in the future.

So I got a $25 gift card from google local guy as a gift. I appreciate Google for doing this. However there have been so many obstacles with this application. One thing to know right away is that you cannot use the $25 gift card to buy gift cards. I guess it makes sense. Also the way they have their application structures is so complicated and so confusing to be used. They make the process very complicated and is a lengthy process. Also I don’t understand why I cannot remove my credit card off of the account if I am not going to be using it. I talk to the representative and they told me that for me to remove my current card I have to put in a new card. Ultimately the only reason why I am using this application to do any transaction it’s because I have a $25 gift card from Google for local guide. If it was not for that I would not ever see myself use this application. There are too many obstacles with this application and things are very complicated in this application.

I’ve experienced several issues with receiving my Goody gift. I selected my item and received confirmation that the item would ship and weeks later, when I reached out to customer service, they said that I had not indicated that I had selected an item. I redid the process and ended up on the same confirmation page. The representative that I spoke to was dismissive of the issue. After placing the order the second time, I did not receive any shipping updates from Goody or from FedEx, and when I revisited the redemption link, I landed on a page with the item I selected and no tracking information. I reached out yesterday, a month and two days after my initial redemption, and I was told that my order had been delivered weeks ago. I have not received it, and again, no indication of shipping from Goody or FedEx. I’m not sure if my experience was a fluke, but I’m very disappointed in this service. Was really excited to receive a gift from my team, but it has become a headache.
