Interesting, fun, memorable, and friendly UI but allows p2w and scheduled events cause problems

GOC has many system that affect your stats, which I find fun and interesting. There’s gear base and sub stats, gear enchantments—pet stats, rerolls, breakthroughs, evolutions, transmogrifications, major array pets, and supporting array pets—along with rune base and sub stats, guild skills, mounts, and food.

There are systems that affect your play style, which I find fun and interesting but won’t be getting into in this review because TMI.

There are a lot of daily activities and events, a world chat, guild system, guild chat, friends list, and other systems, which I find fun and interesting but won’t be getting into in this review because TMI.

The UI is friendly.

All the systems I mentioned above made GOC game memorable for me.

The problem that I have with GOC is that it allows people to pay to win, and the scheduled events cause problems. You’ll never be in the top 10 ranks because GOC allows people to pay to win, and there’s at least 10 people paying to win in every server. Furthermore, the scheduled events cause problems and are the reason why I deleted this game. Like most people, I can’t get on GOC at certain period because I have things to do. But if I don’t get on during that period, I miss out on about 4 events, which give good rewards, and fall behind other players. These problems are what being GOC down to a 4/5 for me.

Just a few issues

Overall this is another Asian style auto game, not to different from others you’ve played. The first week of playing is the “hook” where your heavily awarded with various things. But then the real game begins to show itself. The “rewards” turn mediocre fast. Very quickly the difference between FTP and whales begins to show. If you spend heavy your guaranteed to be a pvp champion, and will clear content long before anyone else.
The guild system is designed to eliminate guilds from the game. If you recruit people to your guild and they are innactive the game wants your characters stamina to kick them, which hurts your character. Also if people quit or just are inactive you guild popularity level drops and the game automatically merges your guild with another. All the work, time, and resources you and your active players poured into your guild GONE.
The game has a daily schedule of events where various game resources are obtained. If you aren’t committed to playing several times per day, overall many hours of time then you’ll fall very far behind even the FTP players who do make that commitment. If you miss a scheduled event to bad, no second chances.

One of the worst games I’ve played

First off, I’m an AVID gamer— I’ve tried all the RPG/MMOs in the App Store and this is by far one of the worst. I’ve also tried this company’s Tales of Wind (which is a much better alternative). This game is not fully functional/developed. Way too many glitches and obviously money hungry (with the amount of servers being released)— I usually wouldn’t have an issue with that since I do whale a lot in games; however, because of the way the servers are split up you never know what community you’ll end up in. I didn’t realize until I got to team events and team related quests that there was NO one to match with because nobody spoke English. This was an NA-EST server (EST-191 to be exact). There needs to be better server specific communities because I didn’t spend $200 to play on my own (and it’s not possible to play on your own because of how many team events there are). I don’t mind supporting these companies with my money but I’m not even able to play this game without bugs (game crashing during boss battle and some text appearing in a different language even though I have it specifically set to English) and a language barrier with the whole server. I have submitted a full refund request and cancellation of my account.
