Super user friendly. Easier than I expected. I work for a competitor as a pharmacy tech and our app is more evolved which I thought was better but it makes it a bit more challenging for older patients who are not used to cell phones. This one immediately and easily let me reorder my prescriptions. I didn’t have to register, sign in or link anything, it just knew who I was. My pharmacy is a lot faster by leaps and bounds- hardly any wait time, 10 minutes max for waiters- way bigger staff, extremely competent workers. . Hannaford takes 2 days by app. Our line gets 3 deep and a second ringer comes over, and a third if needed. Hannaford has hour wait times if I go in to shop and it’s not ready. I was thinking of switching to my place of work instead of Hannaford but my family has always worked at and shopped Hannaford so out of loyalty I stay.

This is the worst app I’ve ever used for a pharmacy or really in general. It shows every prescription but does not condense them. For example, it lists one of my medications at the same dose several times instead of condensing it to one field. This app is hard to view what I can refill and should give me the option to archive old prescriptions. It lists prescriptions that are ready to fill but also listed under the filled previously. I can’t tell which prescriptions are ready to be filled because of this. The app extremely confusing. The only reason I use this app is because Hannaford has the lowest prices. However, I’m considering moving back to CVS all because of my poor experience with this app even though I’ll have to pay more for my prescriptions. THIS APP IS THAT BAD. My family also uses the Hannaford Pharmacy app and I know they feel the same way. As someone with a certificate in UX design, I know there are ways to simplify this app. It is a nightmare to use and I’m considering leaving this pharmacy because of it.Edit: I’ve read a lot of reviews of this app and they mostly praise Hannaford’s customer service, which is phenomenal, but that has nothing to do with this horrible app.

I’ve been using this app for over a year and for the most part it is helpful; however, it needs improvement 1. User should be able to delete old prescriptions. In my list of prescriptions, one medication is listed six different times with no refill. I don’t know which of these to choose as far as refilling it so I would like to be able to eliminate the prescriptions that no longer apply. The pharmacist informs me that only one prescription exists on their system. so they don’t sync up and they cannot sort it out from their end. 2. Be able to remove auto refill using the app. Presently I must speak to a pharmacist. 3. Which doctor? Whenever I receive a text notice that my doctor is being contacted about refilling a prescription, I have no idea as to WHICH doctor. I have several. Maybe combine the notice with either the drug name or Rx number or both. That way I don’t have to wait another week to find out that the prescription isn’t filled since the doctor didn’t respond. Whereas had I known, I would have contacted the doctor. Actually if you cannot identify the doctor, it’s a bad idea to say you’ll automatically contact them, giving me false hope. 4. Coders, yes you, spend some time assisting refills and understand their system. When I asked the pharmacist if I could speak with their app person in order to sort out these issues on my app, he shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know much about it.

Our family has had all our prescriptions at the same Hannaford pharmacy for a very long time and for good reason. Never had any issues with anything there so didn’t really see the need to start using this app until 2022 despite using apps for nearly everything else. Finally decided to try it out and it does make everything easier. I can see everyone’s current scripts and history and can order straight from there without having to have the actual bottle with the # on it which is super helpful to stay on top of things when working or traveling ect. The ability to scan the bottle also is great and I don’t have to call anymore which also saves time, and we all know time is money!
