I’m kinda new to all this and to have a device that does what it’s meant to do is be official to the needs of the community and so far this device has impressed me and I’m looking forward to the next grow season as well to utilize the other features the grading of finished said strain and testing of thc to me are close and with in the +/-3% range. The only reason I give the app a 4/5 is I would like to see the app eventually have an update for it to tap into a data base even if on our end have to type in indica,sativa, or hybrid with that knowledge it then is capable of giving the nameI feel if the company asks the user of the device to upload the data taken from our end would help the team create better algorithm and or names lists of the strain I know I wouldn’t mind as long as data only pertaining to said strains no data of the user what so ever

The optics could better on the device and it would be nice if it were made of metal like old photo loupes, but the app is pretty great. I’m Getting consistent readings, though they don't always match package numbers, but i can’t say how consistent other growers batches are and how accurate package numbers are. I would say measuring your purchased bags could be revealing flaws in the growers testing regimen. My plants have had consistent/ predictable THC numbers throughout, so the app and device are by no means inaccurate, even if not precise. Keep making the app and device both better.

A great system just needs a refresh

I love this system. The help from experts is amazing and I tend to have a response in 24 hours. I have noticed that sometimes my phone takes a better photo than the microscope so I’ll let that be separate since I feel higrow is more of a software than hardware idea. I just feel the app needs to be updated to fit the pro max screens, adjust the location of things. How you put the microscope on a 15 pro max blocks the X to remove the pop up when taking a photo of your plant. A small annoyance but something that can be improved. I wish there was a journal function for each strain and leave notes and document what you do then when you need help the growing expert could reference etc. I think that would take this to the next level!

At least it gives you an idea of how strong your buds are even if it is off a few %.UPDATE: I recently bought from a dispensary and the strain I bought said it was 21% thc and the HiGrade app read it at 21% seems pretty accurate. I love knowing if I’m getting close to what the strains advertised thc levels are supposed to be.
