Version 5.1
We're excited to introduce the latest update to HomeDevices, bringing you enhanced features and improvements:
- Motion Sensor Filtering: We've added new filtering options for motion sensors. You can now filter your sensors by specific types, including mmWave, PIR, Vibration, Glass Break, and more. This makes it simpler to find the sensors that matter most to you.
- Bug Fixes and Improvements: We've made various small fixes and enhancements to improve your overall experience with the app. In version 5.0, some minor bugs, particularly those affecting the upload of new devices, had slipped through. These have now been resolved.

Great app, hope Secure Router workability was included
Great app, hope Secure Router workability was included. Some brands require a ‘phone home’ just to work (including Aqara & Flic) which is unnecessary and shouldn’t be allowed without pre-purchase notification to prospective customers. Other brands (including Wemo & Meross) function in restrict to home mode but the devices’ LEDs blink conspicuously while in restrict to home mode.
Great HomeKit resource, missing Thread filter
I love this app and really wanted to give it 5 stars. It includes an insane amount of great information about HomeKit products. The only thing holding it back from getting 5 stars in my estimation is the lack of a filter to show only devices that support Thread. If I enter the term “Thread” in search I only see one product because it’s only looking at the titles. I am completely sold on Thread (and Matter eventually) and I would prefer to buy products that support Thread if they are available. I was disappointed that this otherwise wonderful resource did not make that easy to do.
Don’t often review…
But this app is extremely helpful, updated regularly, and is a great user experience.
