Crashes a lot
App is intuitive for placing an order and it’s easy to see your rewards and apply coupons, but it just crashed on me 3-4 times before I finally finished and submitted my order. Each time the app would close and completely erase my order causing me to have to start over with pizza customizations again. I also wish they would specify *everything* that has extra charges (such as adding extra toppings) on the order page, not just the “View Cart” Page. Right now it shows toppings that cost more automatically (like steak or chicken), but don’t specify that adding mozzarella to a salad or 2 dipping sauces to cheese bread will also cost extra. Also, the words such as “Coupons” in the upper right corner change depending on which screen you are on, so I almost accidentally signed out when the word “Coupons” changed to “Sign Out” as I was switching screens.
This app is frustrating. I can’t reorder my last order because it says they no longer make one of the items on the menu that o ordered last time. I go to the menu and the howie three cheeser bread I want to order is right there. So I click it to add it to my cart and it takes me through all the steps to customize it and then it won’t let me add it to the cart. There is no error message or anything just doesn’t add or move from that screen. I called the store to see if they still make the three cheeser bread and of course they do. I ordered over the phone and wanted to apply the coupon for this item while I was one the phone but they wouldn’t apply it because it is for online orders only. Ok let me get this straight. I want to order the food, you have the food, the coupon is for ordering online only- which I much prefer over calling- and I can’t add the item to the cart. This defect along with other frustrating features of this app need to be corrected. I’m sure the company can afford a better app designer.
Major design flaws!
I have a sick toddler at home right now that is currently napping, so I went to place an order for the first time using the app. Since my last order was saved, I went ahead and went on with ordering, not remembering that we were on another side of town last time I ordered. It's my fault for not having my glasses on when I saw the receipt in my email, but after 45 minutes with no delivery, I go back and see where it had me picking up my order on the other side of town. I have my sick kid and have been prepping for hurricane Irma (I'm in north Florida) so I haven't eaten in well over 24 hours and broke down in tears when I called). I went back and to mimic my order, and lo and behold, there is no option to choose a location or delivery when you select to order the same thing you did the last time. Just because I want the same order doesn't mean I don't want to change it to delivery or change locations. I'm extremely frustrated right now, and of course the poor owner is having to cancel my charge for food that is already made and sitting there. PLEASE correct this!
