Description
HuntFishNY is the official New York State Department of Environmental Conservation app that provides our sportsmen/women with a simple, user friendly way to display their sporting license and/or privileges as well as a method to report the harvest of a deer, bear or a turkey immediately while afield. It is a legal requirement for a hunter to report all deer, bear and turkey takes within 7 days of harvesting. This information is critical to wildlife management, and is used to determine the overall health of the species population, and in setting future hunting seasons.
App features include:
• Provides instant, mobile access to a customer's sporting licenses, privileges, and permits
• Quick and easy creation of new Game Harvest Reports
• Ability to view current and past harvest reports and current, active licenses
• Smart filtering for collecting town, county, and WMU of harvest data, as well as season and method of take info
• Share harvest reports with friends and followers on Facebook
• Send feedback to DEC staff and access NYSDEC resources from the field

I can’t select a county. Please fix it
E-License feature is a life saver
I downloaded this app for game harvest reporting, but it really came in handy while fishing today! I lost my paper license, but since I had the electronic version available on this app, I didn’t need to pay for a replacement license. I always have my cell phone on me and the app is all I needed for proof of my fishing license! It even works when not in cell service. Very handy!
Update
Someone needs to update for 2019. This app could be so useful to Hunters. Update it ! Also I think it would be beneficial to hold the education courses. So you do not need to haul the waterfowl cars around as stated
