This is the official Hybrid Calisthenics app built around the Hybrid Fitness Routine.

There are 2 main exercise sections:

1.) The Routine - Walks a new person through every step of the routine. Where to start, what exercises to do, how to do them, how long to rest, how many sets to do, etc. It asks you how many reps you've done and tells you when you're ready to move on to harder movements. Great for beginners or those who haven't used the Hybrid Fitness Routine before!

2.) Movement Library - Pick and choose any exercise in the Hybrid Routine. You can use it as a reference to read or it'll walk you through the sets, rests, and reps similar to The Routine. Great for more advanced users and those very familiar with the Hybrid Fitness Routine. We'll continue to update and build to make this great for you!

Good program, app needs work

I love Hampton and Hybrid Calisthenics and this app is a great way for people to get started! However I wish there were more options to customize which exercises to do since there are some that I can't do at home (I lack the equipment for jackknife pullups, or any leg raise progressions that use gymnastic rings for example), or an option to go back to earlier progressions and have it count toward the daily workout. Also, reminders would be an excellent addiction to this app, as I've lost my streak twice now due to forgetting to open it on a rest day, thus pushing my whole routine a day forward and giving me an extra rest day.

I agree with what others have said as well: the way the app interrupts music any time you log a set is cumbersome, as is the long wait time for the app the load when you first open it. An option to view workout history and previous reps to measure progress would be nice to have (I've been copying and pasting the summaries into my notes app to keep track).

Overall it's a wonderful program that's especially friendly for those just starting their fitness journey, but the app needs some work. I will continue to use it since it's the most manageable workout I've encountered so far, and I look forward to any and all future improvements!

Simple and effective!

I love the format and simplicity of the app - it’s really easy to find the different movements and start the recommended routine. I love the built in timer for time between sets and the easy input for number of reps - this is something I struggle to record and stay consistent with on my own. There are a couple things I think would be quick but really helpful fixes! On the home page, there’s a “start your new routine” option, but it only starts from the first progression, and doesn’t have an option to modify to the progression you’re on. It’s easy enough to look for the correct progression in the movement library and go from there, but it would be awesome if we could modify the routine on the homepage instead of needing to parse through the library. It could also be that this will update after a few days of working in the progression, but I would love to adjust it right away! The other thing I didn’t love is that the “I’m done” button only appears after your 3 minute rest time, so if you’re finished with all your sets, you still have to wait to press “I’m done” - it would be great if that was an option during the rest time. Overall I’m really pleased with the app and will definitely continue using to structure and record my workouts!

Simple, Effective, Could use a little work

Agreed with others who have left reviews. The program is great, been at it for a few months now and really enjoying working on calisthenics. The app itself could still use some work. It works well enough but there are a lot of little things that can be improved. One pet peeve for example is that when I finish my last set, I still have to wait through the rest timer before I'm able to click "I'm done". Similarly, I don't do calisthenics every day as I work following this program in between other strength and cardio workout days, so when I open the app after 3 days off or so and it's giving me the same routine that I just did last time, I wish it would remember that I just did that. It seems like it keeps moving on through the routines with or without you instead of being personalized. Hope they keep making improvements cuz I'd love to stick with this long term.
