Good, but needs tweaks

I try to give detailed reviews but the app limits to 500 characters, and when reviewing lodging I give info on layout of rooms, how the bathrooms are, parking, location ect. If it was to get bumped to 1,000 it would be more efficient. Also if they had an option to have tidbits on specific cities, such as where I live in San Antonio all the public parking garages accessible parking is free downtown. Where the are places in downtown location areas there are to take service dogs for relief areas, something cities fail to take into account all the time.

Much needed app for caregivers and mobility challenged

I started using this app when my partner was temporarily in a wheelchair and my eyes were opened to how many of our cities (and businesses) fail accessibility. It became of paramount importance for me after that experience. This app alleviates any stress of going out and also lets you share information on accessibility so that people are informed and hopefully businesses begin abiding by accessibility rules not just for the good of their business but for humanity.

Why hasn’t this been around for years?

I am a care taker of a child with disabilities, and I love to take him out to eat and to have fun. With this app, I can finally find the restaurants and entertainment venues that are accessible in entry and in bathrooms. This app helps our fun days out to go smoothly, and I no longer have to worry about disappointing him by driving somewhere only to find out it is not accessible. Thank you iAccess team, keep it up!
