I have had several accounts in three different states in the past few years. The banking apps have been good in some and not so good for others. This one is my favorite. It is fairly intuitive and easily managed. Some of the newer features are very helpful with seeing how you tend to use money. Helps with seeing all my accounts from all my financial institutions, even credit cards, in one place.It has all the features you need for setting up payments, transfers, even mobile deposits. You can put in travel notices on you debit card so you don’t get questioned when you use your card out of state. You can even turn your card off and on when you want to. With all the hackers and fraudsters out there today, it’s great to be able to track your account in real time, any time!

I’ve had an extremely difficult time submitting my payments. I have had a number of them referenced us sitting in un distributed, but I couldn’t figure out how much and then payments I tried to make were refunded back to me and then I was charged a late fee. I’ve also sent more than $4500 in payments, but yet my principal has only gone down less than $1000. I called and learned about the inability to do biweekly payments until your full monthly payment was made. So I corrected that on the phone with the lady and for some reason instead of my payment going to principal, it just paid a month in advance. I am frankly fed up with this. At this point I have no idea what money I’ve sent, what money has been refunded, and what is in undistributed.

(ExPECT 2 hr wait times if you want to customer support) This app is useful if you like wasting money and time because when you try to transfer any amount of money it will eat up your whole afternoon loading and sending error messages. When your tormented evening is over, you’ve not only lost the money you were trying to transfer but you can say goodbye to any plans you had the next day because, as a reward for being robbed of your balance, you can expect to spend more hours on hold in an even longer line than before thanks to your bank merging with a mega bank. Do NOT download this app if you are sending any serious amount of money or if you value your time whatsoever. They do not. I’ve gone through these issues multiple times and there’s really no sign of stoppage. Ever since I joined independent bank in 2017 it has been a downhill ride. Reduction in quality, customer service, and response time. It’s insulting banking with these clowns.

What a horribly designed and executed app. To transfer money between accounts now takes multiple tries and closing the app several times. Countless white screens forcing me to close the app and try again just to press facial recognition and wait for the app to buffer and load for 10 minutes. And that’s if it even works! Don’t know how many times I received the massage that an “unknown error has occurred please try again later”. I’ve only used this app successfully maybe 7 times. It’s difficult to pay your bills when the app is constantly down and you cannot see how much money is in which account so you have to either drive to a location to physically put your card in the ATM and get a receipt or call independent banks telephone number. Please for the love of Christ, fix this app. The old one was much better.
