After hours of trying to get my two new cameras hooked up, I finally realized I had bought the wrong cameras for our router. They were a prime day deal, I don’t remember the 2.5 vs 5g description but either way, we bought the wrong thing. I apologize for the initial review but I will leave it here in case someone else has the same issue. Sorry again, upped the star count.

Just bought two of these cameras and neither will recognize my router password. I have had several different cameras like this for years and have tried with these, all of the tips and tricks I’ve done in the past. These still do not recognize my wifi router at all. Kind of useless without that!

Their updates on Feb 24 overlay options at the bottom of the “Local record” screen. The RECORD and EVENT option along with HOUR vs MIN option cannot be selected because of a ad for their cloud service storage. Looks like qa didn’t care to test with an sd card.

Update: I contacted support and supplied screenshots. They were able to address the problem in the subsequent patch. I’ve updated the star rating from 2 to a four.

I bought five cameras for my two businesses and had them hooked up. Everything seem to work fine for the first few days! Then all of a sudden I couldn’t log into my account at all. Then a couple days later I could log into my account but there were no cameras shown to be connected in my account. And then a couple days after that everything seem to be working fine. Keeping in the same routine a couple days after that they were no cameras connected again and I couldn’t see anything!! It has done this three times so far. I’ve deleted the app and then I will reinstall it…. Right now it’s saying I don’t have an active account when in fact I verified it through my email again today!! Stay away from this camera/ app system! Either way I’ve tried contacting them and nothing in response!
